One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen

This icon reminds me Pala d’Oro. I saw it behind alter. At one special mass I saw it was faced front.

I was a live-in nanny for a Jewish family and the mom was a rabbi, so I'm a little wounded that I never heard about Haggadah... I do think I witnessed a seder, though. Fully-loaded latkes and matzoh (ball soup) are love. 😍 Anyway, aside from that vaguely-related nostalgia, this short video took me on a journey: 1. I was hired today as an "Administrative Project Manager" for a print and online design services firm [🥳🔥🏆] and aside from loving all things print 3.28% more, when my boss called to make me the offer, a dove was on her desk driving her crazy. So it's nice to know there are nice doves that bring good tidings instead. 2. I wondered about the loss it is to have an amazing text like this just enclosed in a case this way. Maybe a screen that shows a slideshow of all pages can be placed over it so people can see what's going on without touching? 3. It's beautiful. I can imagine seeing these (gilded) images in an intimate, warm candlelit setting and all the joy that would bring. Yes to all of it.
