Can you please find A Shona in Zimbabwe? Maybe Today. But. Here is the shocking truth! No Such tribe existed 200 years ago! Yes very very true. What is the real hidden history behind the Shona Tribe of Zimbabwe? Whose Language is Shona anyway? before we proceed here are Some Apologies - 2 apologies in fact. (i)The Berlin Conference borders are Un-African!
(ii) Christian missionary worked hard and Created the Shona's!
What is Shona? Is it Sona, Tshona Or Shona?
Where did the Shona Come from?
To know who the Shona, and their close relatives are, we must know their sacred ancestors. Are all Shona tribes’ descendants of Dzivaguru?
Who is or was Dzivaguru?
Where did these so-called Shona tribes originate?
Is the Contemporary definition Shona a Blind meant to fool us?
The biggest shock is that Ethnic Groups Were crafted by Missionaries at the behest of colonizers! Why? To enhance and perpetuate colonial rule. And also to support the berlin conference major goal? Divide, Conquer and Rule. White settlers and missionaries created many ethnic groups out of an otherwise culturally homogenous population of the Mwenemutapa Empire citizens. They came up with the following tribal names Karanga, Zezuru, Manyika and Korekore as distinct ethnic groups.
These names have absolutely no basis within the real history of our people. The term ‘Shona’ was created by whites from a number of sources.
But there is more. Many Academic sources project an authoritative stance on African Tribes, Countries, History and Reality. .. But its pure propaganda and lies.. Find out More in this thrilling educative posting. Remember to

Perhaps the inability to “build strong communities” proclaimed with such certainty is caused by people manifesting disunity when they speak so negatively, with clear disdain about our people on a public forum. I don’t understand how anyone who “loves” themselves and their own people would go on forums like RU-vid and disparage, “curse” and limit all “Zimbabweans in diaspora” with statements such as this. People who go on social media and speak negatively about our people such as those lost black men who frequently denigrate black women on Twitter, often without cause or provocation, are doing incredible harm. Get on code people. Let’s love one another and even if we want to encourage better behaviour, let’s treat each other with love and dignity...

There is something which we don't understand in terms of building Zimbabwean community the hatred and fear upon one another was probably started by whites but lets not be naivy as to under estimate the division caused by Kukurawundi in Matebelaland .l am young but based on history l also know that the ppl in Zimbabwe did not have such distrust prior to this among one another however the killing of the Ndebele in the 80's is something causing great mis trust now .l was young then and not directly personal affected but growing up with family members who suffered it and the torment they still feel today is pulpable and heart breaking mind these ppl have never come across such documentation so this was not the foundation and only instiller of hatred between our society .l am keen to see and compare further research as a Ndebeleof Swati leaneage from my fathers side with surname Mkhwananzi and my mother is from Abesuthu with a surname Mafu.and l grew up in my mothers side of grandmothers clan of the Hlatshwayo's. I say this as someone disturbed by so much loyality and hatred between us but as a Nation and l can only speak for the Ndebeles who are presumed to be dangerous and full of hatred those ppl are in sorrow with no answers or justification of why did their killing happen and thats what has turned into disrespect of their fellow ppl and distrust as well as vulnerability of living side by side with their tormenters which is the driving force from my experience having been brought up by this ppl mistrust and anger brought by grief of the lost souls some who where never buried to this day this is a raw sore wound in the hurts of many who had to pound or kill their families under orders of Kukurawundi. Truth be told trust and loyalty is very important in any relationship as we all know and when its lost its hard to gain back thats not to say it can never be gained .Strangely l had a the document owner saying ppl say Situngwiza instead of Chitungwizda but he did not make reference to those who say Burawayo for Bulawayo or Ndebere for Ndebele maybe one reference was what he needed. Instead of only correcting what the white wrote to divide us only maybe we should also ask ourselves why did we then decide to cull other humans our own ppl.To think that such scripts are the only cause is tunnel vision or more like selective definition of the division within Zimbabwe.

He met my grandmother in Jo'burg in South Africa, they settled in Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. That is where my mother and father come from, because I carry the surname of my father and hence my grandfather who is Ngwenya, I was always told our origins was around the Eswati and KwaZulu-Natal region, now you seen to be telling me otherwise. Interesting that my totem, Gwai, has not been mentioned in the list of “Shona” totems provided... I’m Manyika if we use the “you are what your father is” concept (I’ve also heard the elders say we are Sena). They call us saManyika, Gumbi, etc. When I consider my mother’s lineage too, I’m also Zezuru. I love our history, our culture and our people, even without learning much about it, I have always questioned the widespread Eurocentric or Euro-biased or Euro-propagandist or Euro-influenced versions that are rampant today. I’m sure the oral tradition prevails and elders are passing on our true and unadulterated story to protectors of our story. I pray that the ancestral knowledge “programmed” into our DNA manifests. To do so, we will need to “remember” by honing in our bodies and minds to remember the ancestral knowledge.

The Shona language is spoken by descendants of Bantus who came from Guruuswa, Tanganyika. Thank you for the information, but I thought that it was common knowledge that there is no Shona tribe, but shona speaking people of different tribes. Which is true because our language is similar and not a construct of colonization as I have lived in Botswana and the Kalanga there is similar to Shona and Swahili is also similar to Shona. So it is just the name “Shona” you have an issue with and that it also divides Ndebele people etc. Would you know the reason for the migration and where the people came from before the Nile. It is believed the Bantu are Jews. Where do the Lemba fit into the Karanga group and what is their totem. They also claim to be the ones who built Great Zimbabwe and it was taken from them by the Shona yet they speak Shona. Was the Shona language forced on them?

I have just come across your video today. It is mixed up, Karanga is a creation of the same missionaries you said. The proper name is KaLanga, meaning of Langa, the Sun. These are the mainly Nguni and related people. Langa is Sun in Nguni dialects. We are Rozvi and never Karanga. The word Karanga is a 1900 creation. Ucalanga by Portuguese traders was with an L always and never R. For more see Chigwedere.

@@khamiti Yes language evolves over time but you can't tell me that just 100 years ago "Shona" had an L sound? How did it vanish in just under 100 years? By the time "Shona" was consolidated, the dialects never had an L. B and V are and were never interchangeable. The real problem is Bantu languages didnt have a written form, so Europeans, especially Portuguese and Missionaries transliterated using their own alphabets. If there was no letter corresponding to the sound they heard, they would substitute it with something else. But from orthography, we can deduce the correct spellings and pronunciation of the language.
@faraimarutaya3207
@faraimarutaya3207 Год назад
@@khamiti National Archives were consolidated by whites and like indicated above they tried to transliterate our language to their alphabet. Until today we use it and still have problems spelling some sounds of our language, eg kudya (eating), n'ombe (cattle) etc. Hieroglyphics evolved over time and ended up being extinct as a written form of language. This means it can only form a base but can't extend to Bantu. Remember Bantu is much more recent than hieroglyphics. Chigwedere provides a firm background I think ,though.

Ethiopia was and is not the region of the modern day African map. The whole continent was inhabited by Bantu tribes but because of invasions most people became concentrated in South, Central,West Africa. The middle East,North Africa was overrun by the Arabs coming from Turkey and Europe populations mixing with indigenous populations mainly dark skinned women they took as slaves. There is no such thing as Shona . The ignorance is baffling more than half of the continent speaks similar Bantu languages confirming a much deeper historical connection of inhabiting a great ancient empire with common religion/ spirituality backed by totemism and ancestors at the fore front.
