A Short Summary | The June 8, 1984 Tornado Outbreak 

I remember the Albert Lea MN tornado on June 7. There were no fatalities but several injuries. And it indirectly impacted my small home town. The Albert Lea Ambulance service building was destroyed by the storm and as a result our ambulance service had to go down to Albert Lea and take over until they could get ambulance service up and running again

I'm so glad you covered this outbreak, especially Barneveld. Out of all of the historically notable tornadoes I can think of, I find Barneveld to be one of the most chilling, IMO. It is what made me terrified of nocturnal tornadoes. Sadly, there isn't a whole lot of information widely available on it. Some of the available survivor stories are quite harrowing. I read some of those firsthand accounts back in 1996, when I was only 12 years old and still find them distressing at 40 years old. I can only imagine how much worse the death and destruction could've been had this twister struck a much larger community.

One little tidbit: Wisconsin has had one F5 since; the Oakfield tornado in 1996. Otherwise, solid video!
