York Gate Garden near Leeds has been on my bucket list for a while, and was recently featured on BBC's Gardeners' World with a visit from Adam Frost.
The garden is spread over just an acre (having originally been designed as a private family garden) and is split in to several themed 'rooms'.
York Gate is a real plant-lovers' garden, packing so much in to its space. my personal favourites were the greenhouse and paved area of cacti and succulents, the exotic area full of big foliage plants, and the shady woodland area.
Finally a massive thank you to head gardener Jack for the plants! I will definitely be returning later in the season to see how everything has grown.
