@@inthewildwoodsOf course all cities look alike when they‘re presented to you on the display of your phone. I think it‘s a bit arrogant to assert what a city feels like after watching a RU-vid video.
wow, I`ve never seen UlaanBaatar before!! never thought is so crowded... didn`t knew they use cyrilic writings. wish google car visited Mongolia to see more of this beautiful country!!
Only western people are dreaming that West is center of whole Universe. Try to watch here - for example - Vladivostok, Krasnodar, Jekaterinburg, Perm..... All Russian cities very far from Moscow to eats. I believe, you will VERY surprised.
Looks so much like Poland from the style of the XIX century buildings, through communist era blocks to the ones from 1990's and more recent ones. Same with the side walks, bus stops and other small things.
It would be awesome to see a walk through the Ih delguur/Fountain and Huuhdiin 100 area at night! The lights and bustling atmosphere around that area is very pretty at night, especially on the weekend
I didn't even notice till I read your comment. But yeah, looks like 95% of cars are Toyota. They must really love them. Don't think I've seen anywhere so dominated by one brand
@@shaunmckenzie5509used car imports from japan are really cheap , most popular car in mongolia, Pruis 3rd Gen , can be obtained for under 6k USD japan to mongolia with shipping
WOW! I did not know that this is Toyotaland. All of the cars i saw are toyota! Good choice i have to say. As for that part of the city - looks nice. Full of toyota though :)
Most of the old buildings, including apartment blocks, shopping centres, business, government, offices, etc. were built by the Soviets or Chinese. They are unattractive and the interiors tend to be drab. Elevators are ancient and slow, if there are any and public areas are dim & smell of cooking. 😑
Interesting to see right-hand-drive cars (cars with steering wheel on the right). Why is that? Is it because the cars are imported from Japan (where traffic drives on the left)?
@@odomtv Thank you for your reply. That's very interesting. Having driven our right-hand drive (UK) car in countries where the requirement is to drive on the right-hand side of the road (eg France, Italy) I know how difficult it can be!
@@ianflindt In my opinion the biggest risk is whenever you turn to the right and if there is pedestrian zebra crossings, your car frame would actually block the view. And your blind spot is on your left side. If you are to change lane to the faster lane, you have got to be extra cautious.
I didn’t expect the Mongols to be so beautiful. By the way, among the Mongols there are people with very white skin, and sometimes there are brown-haired people with blue or green eyes, but at the same time they have an Asian type of face
what a strange ending trip?....last time I got lost in the wrong place...there is a person who doesn't know the city of Ulaanbaatar...I'm a resident of UB city and I got lost and I'm even upset
i am from mongolia. it is very safe country except the pickpocketing in crowded place such as open market and in buses. almost no robbery and no attack.
I'm pretty sure that's an American accent I hear: "What am I doing with my life?" at 24:58 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VzwR2cP1VWg.html

@@brandon.monroy Hi! I would like to inform you that Russia is the biggest country. If you will show the map of Russia, you can see the territory of Siberia located at the eastern part of country. And there you can see some republics within this territory, among them Yakutia, Buryatia and Tuva. All Russian village people who live in these republics speak in russian and in native languages. Please inform me, do you know some americans who speak in some Indian language? May be white people in the South Africa speak in some native language?
It is an intersection as you can see. The police signals the lane to stop so the other lanes could move and fix traffic blockage. When the lane is stopped the pedestrians move.
When there is a traffic police at an intersection, it means the intersection is busy. Sometimes the traffic police lets them move abiding the traffic lights, or they take matters in their own hands if things get too hot.
