This nurse became the angel of light for this wonderful Mom..her heart full of love is testament ..the umbilical cord may be sliced but the love endures forever..
The surrogate daughter filled the space of Emily. It’s similar to Gestalt intervention used to bring closure and understanding to a seemingly disruptive event in peoples’ lives. This scenario works wonderfully as the story builds. The mother allowed the nurse to step into to role of a distanced daughter, somewhat of an uncomfortable request although the nurse acquiesced and accepted that journey. There seems to be some minor repetitions in each of these stories . Reference to the Sun at the window or Sun in the evening. It fits pretty OK, though noticeable. Sarah walking the hall and rcommemorating the cherishing of moments shared:. Love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Sarah played her role well, and the sequence was believable. The one day requested stretched into days as Mrs Donavon received the comfort and love that she deserved. Emily also got the gift of closure that allowed for her Mother’s peaceful transition. Heart-warming story. Thank you.
