Sabokoji is an island in Apapa Lagos state. The town is only accessible by boat as there is no bridge that leads to this community.
Most people in Sabokoji are originated from Togo, Ghana, Benin republic and other African countries
I explored this town and I was surprised to see that it has everything a regular city in Lagos would have.

@@Oluwalowi places like agaja, kpovikorji, ilashe , ishahaye, tavie etc... The only means of transportation to the above mentioned and others I couldn't list is canoe, because they are all at the riverine area of Lagos . Most of them under the ojo local government.

I don't egun's are not originally from Badagary because they are settlers from Benin republic former Idahomey . The original name of Badagary is igbadagiri and founded by Yoruba. But British changed it too Badagary.

I observed multiple schools where English is the language of instruction. However, I wonder if the kids might struggle to differentiate between their neighborhood relationships and classroom dynamics, given that they're surrounded by familiar faces from their community

I don’t think so. The Lagos state government knows about this town and the canoe riders are being taxed just like bus riders.
