I just want to point out the fact that Shoya's "friends" from middle school traumatized him so bad he physically forgot how you become friends with someone. Just something I was thinking about while watching this
@@Shujiosamu406 I think so to only because yeah he was doing dumb shit as kid, but literally EVERYONE turned on him. Like literally the whole entire class was in on bulling shoko and their teacher knew and saw it. He really was gonna own up to it and no one else confessed and his teacher didn't say anything either. And then proceeded to bully him. Like bro😭😭 Edit: I Didn't mean to compare traumas with this comment, just more of a "I empathize/relate to him more" in more of his traumas. I seriously didn't mean to put down Shokos trauma, cause they've both gone through a lot. (But also this og comment was from 3 months ago, no point in continuing to argue with other people rn :) )
@@Shujiosamu406i dont think he had a worse life but i think they both rlly struggled, shoko also had to deal w being deaf and having a mom who refused to learn sign language to talk to her or to send her to a school w other deaf kids 😭 they were both js kids treated cruelly by the world
i think your one of the only people whos made a reaction about this movie and NOT made it romantic, thank you!!!. people seem to only focus on that stupid side plot. like no dawgs, this movie is about shoya healing and growing as a person and overcoming his fear of becoming close to people.
I am Japanese and this film is about bullying against the deaf. I myself was deaf, and being deaf is a real challenge. In Japan, bullying is very serious. Even though I am deaf, I am living in the present. Sorry for my bad English. Please, people overseas, even if you are handicapped like us.
this is literally the most beautiful a silent voice reaction i’ve watched. i love how all of the characters get some spotlight and that their reactions are all so on point
I'd like to point out that Shoya was a CHILD. A LITTLE NAIVE FOOL WHO DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER, sure what he did wasn't right but as a child you do many grave mistakes. And he learned from that.
Anyone said that he is a lier ok This anime is based from a manga like any anime And when they asked the writer about it he said i didn't take any things from this it's just the story i imagine when i was try to sleep at night
I love the way you see the movie 😭🤚it’s always pissed me off how everyone only blamed him when all of them were to blame. The black haired girl even helped him acouple times en the blond literally would laugh aa things happened along with the boy blond like they pissed me off so much 😭🤚trying to act all innocent Yet only he changed and seen the wrong the rest of them stayed the same 💀
First I wanna say is the the quality wasn't bad it's just perfect, second thing i wanna say is this whole video had me bawling out my eyes! ahhh you did such an amazing job i'm not sure if something is wrong with my device but you deserve more than 38 likes! this needs more views and likes that's how amazing it is!❤
Not going to lie, i never liked Naoka, and never will. She blames people saying that they didn't defend shoya when he was getting bullied when she herself didn't do anything at all. Telling people that shoya was the only one doing the bullying(i think it was her) which is Bs, and she keeps blaming Shouko when she has way more blame. Yes, you can say i hate her.
Honestly, I was planning on re-watching this film again after a long time but yay! A gacha reaction! Haven’t seen one of these about this movie in awhile.. I really appreciate the effort you put into this. ♡
Well, as a manga reader, that pretty much came from my own interpretation of Mashiba's focused chapter. Mashiba always felt like he was weird and tried to convince himself the opposite. When he saw that news about Ishida jumping into the river, he was convinced that the world is full of people weirder than him. And he was normal, compared to Ishida. He approached Ishida because he thought being around him would make himself feel like a normal person. But that wasn't what happened, in truth, it was the complete opposite. After hearing that Ishida fell to save a girl (Shoko), Mashiba felt like a fool, and now he was convinced that Ishida was really weird. His chapter ends with Ishida's old teacher telling Mashiba that Ishida's friends are really fools, after Mashiba apologized for throwing water on him the other day.
I really thought it was really interesting to add in the video, by the way it makes more sense when you read the manga, because they cut most of Mashiba's scenes in the movie.
I really love this video, it's really obvious you put a lot of work into this and I wanna say thank you. A Silent voice is a really important movie to me. It's always been since I watched it in 2017, I've searched for good content about A Silent voice but nothing I really watch comes on par with this, single video. I hope to see more good reactions from you as a new subscriber. Thank you Yuki's place!
