I despise Shoko’s mother. she’s a good mother, absolutely no doubts, but she’s a horrible person. who looks at a woman who had no involvement in her son’s petty bullying and PHYSICALLY HURTS HER. I don’t care if she was iN tHe RiGhT because she wasn’t. being unnecessarily violent isn’t ever the answer. it makes me so angry seeing people defend her. I loved this though, pension for more people to make silent voice reactions
Cuz she didn't bro Shoya's mom tore off her earlobe and earring and used it to pay for the hearing aids ( which are expensive) that's why shoya returned to her the money later on but she accidentally burned it
@@saramahroos7746 not true at all. When she went to get the money she was fine, not bleeding, she only bled after meeting with Shoko's mom which was a sign she tore her earrings off. It's also not farfetched because we've seen Shoko's mom does have a temper 😭
@@bkuqu it wasn't stated weather that was self inflicted or shoko's mom did it , and shoko's mom sure has a temper but like she can't just rip of someone's earlobe with just a slap 😙
(Don’t bother reading I say anything, so don’t come and attack me for nothing) I too still haven’t understood, maybe she needed someone to pass her nerves and since Shoya was still only a child she attacked her mother. But I find it too disgusting and irresponsible, instead of Shoya I would have fought against her, whether I’m a child or not because it’s really incredible to tear off the earlobe of a mother who probably didn’t do anything. I still haven’t forgiven her for what she did even at the end.
@Seohyun_Kim_ I thought she tore her own earring off to get money to pay for Shoko's lost hearing aids, I don't remember Shoko's mom hurting Shoya's mom? (In the anime, not what this person made happen in the reaction).
@@Seohyun_Kim_ It’s a way to show how deeply sorry you are in Asian culture to tear off your own earring or to tear your earlobe. So it wasn’t shoko’s mother who caused it but influenced it to some extent
Oh yes, it’s true, I had completely zapped that it was for that! Thank you for calling me back!! In fact, Shoko’s mother has nothing at all in the story, it was Shoya’s mother who took her off on purpose to make a loan to pay for a new hearing aid. I understand much better :)
I JUST REWATCHED THE MOVIE TODAY AND HAPPENED TO STUMBLE ACROSS THIS VIDEO, IM SO GLAD THE A SILENT VOICE FANDOM ISNT DEAD BECAUSE THE STORY LITERALLY ALWAYS MAKES ME BAWL MY EYES OUT.
I used to contemplate suicide, but i found this movie and now its helped me deal with my emotions. Sadly rarely anyone makes videos abt this fandom. Pls make more ASV content
A silent voice is based off of a true story about shoya, his sister had told his story after he died, (at the end of the movie they made him live but he didn’t survive when was saving shoko)
@@Gatodeoculos95 google doesn’t know everything and again shoya’s sister told his story and that’s how it got to the creator who made the movie and all the places in the movie is real, again all you have to do a “google search” on the places
I love this video but real quick i understand that shoyas mom is responsible for him but i never understand why she had to put her hands on her like be a mature adult and talk it out tf whay are u putting your hands on someone like that had really pissed me off 😭
Shoko's mom is shown to be the violent type to anyone who she seems as doing or having done anything bad to her children. While it is understandable considering her past, she's most definitely not in the right in most, if not any, of those situations
sigh everytime I see that scene where shoya’s mom is hurt I just feel so bad because she is such a good mom and a good person in general and didn’t deserve it at all🙍🏾♀️
i don't really like ueno but i lovee how she called out miki here 14:18 ueno was one of the many characters i was not fond of but miki was downright horrendous with her victim complex i wanted to slap her from across the screen ugh😭😭
yeah, Ueno was a b*tch we saw it and everyone else saw it too, but the way Maki was playing the victim card was outright diabolical pretending she wasn't talking behind Shoko's back atleast Ueno tried to somewhat apologize. Infact that whole class was screwed because they were all either making fun of Shoko or enjoying it too much to not help but when they got in trouble they pointed out Shouya like they weren't all accountable even the teacher knew what was going on and let it happen.
This is so good!!!❤ I literally feed off of videos like this that come out once in a while with amazing quality, something people hardly do anymore, or generally a fandom I like that no one does. 😭😭😭 ❤❤❤
I love shokos mom she a beautiful and great mother but after she assaulted shoyas mom I lost all respect for her. Cause why would you assault a woman who didnt do anything
I wished u should have played the vids story by story and show what more happened in the story instead of the videos are over and over...... Im sorry i just want a request (◞‸◟ㆀ)ˢᵒʳʳʸ its just an opinion
Is it just me who can’t sympathize with shoya? The whole killing himself bit was horrible but everything else he got what was coming to him. You have every right to like a character, but personally favoring him over shoko weirds me out ^_^
A 12 years old bullying someone does not justify violence, bullying and suicide baiting towards him from his peers and adults in his life. No one should be bullied and a bully isn't in the right, but fighting fire with fire is not the answer and treating as if revenge is the best justice is basically going against the whole reason we have a legal justice system in the first place. Plus, he was 12, a literal kid. At this age, he should be taught things are wrong, not punished for doing something everyone around him approved and encouraged him to do. Not to mention, he was violently bullied throughout over three years of his life even by adults because of a mistake he made through eight months at most. Like, it's okay to not like the character, but saying he "got what he deserved" is not only incorrect but a very bad mentality to have towards children, even asshole children
@@mundoatena1674 I’ll admit I worded it wrong, and came off wrong. The period of time the bullying happened does not matter because it can cause just as much damage mentally. When I said “he got what was coming to him” it was worded terribly. What I meant was that the bullying served as a lesson, even if not deserved it taught him something. I wasn’t saying the bullies that bullied him were right or justified. Side note, I don’t think any of the other kids didn’t deserve to be blamed. Shoya didn’t deserve all the blame but he most definitely deserved some of it. All of those kids should’ve been taught how wrong it was instead of all the blame going to shoya. (You already know that.) I don’t normally have this kind of “mentality” towards children or have it at all. I don’t say this about him because he is a child or to purposely prey on him. Shoya in his teen years could recognize right from wrong, obviously with his regret. Regardless of any of this people in the fandom feel bad for him a lot. I barely sympathized with him during his teen years and wanted to share that.
You cant synpathize with him because he bullied shokou? Shokou forgave him and thats really all that matters but still, he was also bullied and lost his entire support network, he cut himself off completly, got social anxiety, as you said tried to kill himself, and even after that he still had a complete disregard for his life, and he only started to feel happy again when shokou let him (and even then he didnt feel like he deserved it), he grew from where he was and learned to be a better person. Nobody is a saint and all of his friends were also backing this behavior, was it still disgusting of him? Yes. But come on, people can change from who they were when they were 12 and shoya definitely has.
I disagree I like them both equally but I think it’s normal if they like shoya a bit more, he has top tier character development, he had a very good happy ending and ik for some people he is relatable
