I have to say this...I have reached out to a few RU-vidrs about issues I have had with my truck that related to what they were working on. I have yet to hear anything from them whether it was I don't know or....try this. YOU Jordan are not like that and I must give you KUDOS for being a RU-vidr that obviously likes to try and help in some way. Great Job on your videos and thank you for your kindness.
I’m ready to rebuild my trans 05 what u recommend for must have in trans. My qoute was $2800 with billet torque and upgraded parts. But I want shift kit and the 6 th gear Conversion. I see that kit is 2k would u recommend that or not worth cheddar. My truck has 110k miles
You will definitely want the shift kit for sure while you are in there. Id also make sure you get at least the input shaft for hard parts. The 6th gear conversion is a pretty simple thing to do but it is pricey. I will say from owning a 6 speed that it is very nice to have. The torque converter which you have listed is by far the most crucial part definitely get a good one.
@@jordancampbell3723 i was wondering if you can help me out i have a 2016 gmc 3500 duramax with the allison transmission. im stuck on 3rd gear i cant go pass 40mph and the code it gives me p0700 and p0964 i have already dropped my oil pan and replaced all the solenoids and the pressure manifold but it keeps doing the same thing and everything i try to reset the code it comes back on and the tranny pops do tou think its time for a new transmission?
@@elvato9458 it sounds like you are stuck in limp mode. Are those the only codes you have? Or is there a bunch of codes? Have you tried replacing the neutral backup switch yet? this is connected to the shift linkage on the inside of the pan.
@@jordancampbell3723 we just order it yesterday it should be here sometime next week..because when i reset the codes thats where it makes a lil pop sound. Thanks for the help
Talk about what your going to do at extreme detailed length and then when you start put on some annoying music and speed it up so fast that no one can tell what the hell your doing lol.
