Beautiful area David, I bet that's a great place to relax in the summer evenings. It's almost May, and in my area that means planting time! I'll be picking up my annuals for my containers before the end of this week. I'm prepared and ready to plant. As long as mother nature cooperates... We've had a wet April so far. Great for my lawn and bushes, but kind of a hassle when it comes time to fill and arrange my plant containers. Here's a tip for those that may not know. If you use a lot of potting soil for big or just a lot of containers buy in the winter months. Because the price of that potting soil goes up during the big demand of planting season. I buy at least 20 bags and in December it's generally $4 to 5 dollars cheaper per bag through different hardware stores. See you in the garden!

Thanks for that very good tip. And, because these places are getting in their new supplies then too, you get a better chance of finding the brands and types you like and because its "off season" there's usually more help available for loading etc. too. Have you subscribed to our channel? If you haven't, you might like to think about it, because once you are subscribed, each time we post a new video (which we are doing all the time), you will find that they will turn up automatically in your feed. And, as you find our videos helpful, it would be great if you could kindly share the links with your friends and click the "like" button too, because that will help other people find out about the information as well. And, now that we have entered the main planting season (spring through late Fall) try to visit our partnering garden centers: grownbyoverdevest.com/retail-locator/. They are located all over our Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern region, and that's where you will find all sorts of beautiful, tried and true and cutting edge, top performing selections, so be sure to stop in regularly throughout the seasons because there will be a steady stream of more fresh shipments coming in weekly.

David you are such a pleasant and cheerful man. I enjoy watching your informative videos. I wish I could get some of these plants down here in northwest Florida.

I have. I love. Mine are planted in the ground, in front of my back deck. They really are beautiful! Love looking down at them over my rail. I keep mine shaped as well. ❤

Yes it is a neat trick, and so easy and quick too 😅👍👏 The important part (of course) is to get nicely shaped, well grown plants that fill the pot and then keep growing to become even more impressive. AND, all they need is watering! And then the bonus is.... that the plants aren't wasted, they are planted out to be enjoyed for many years to come. And as finances allow, this procedure can be repeated to give an ever revolving display... handy when you are expecting visitors, at holidays times or when you just want to brighten things up a bit!

Thank you, the important part (of course) is to have nicely shaped, well grown, healthy plants like you would find at our partnering garden centers: grownbyoverdevest.com/retail-locator/ As you may know, we send out plants like these all the time, ones that fill the pot and then grow out quickly to become even more impressive. And the bonus is that the plants aren't wasted! They can be planted out in the garden to be enjoyed for years into the future. Have you subscribed to our channel?
