Great story. My son goes to a Yeshiva and the feeling of family amongst all the students is real and strong. Welcome to the tribe, Mr. and Mrs. Schiermeyer! We can be a difficult lot but those of us who haven't forgotten our good and divine mission are so thankful to be part of the Jewish people.
Very good story. I was raised in Eakly, Ok. Don't know why I started listening to Rabbi Singer, a few months ago, but now someone from Weatherford. Never thought I'd listen to an ex Christian, from Weatherford's testimony of converting to Judaism, I couldn't stop listening.
I remember hearing you and your husband speak a few years ago in Los Angeles. I also read your book. Such a nice surprise to see you again on RU-vid . I hope that you and your family are well. Your talk was very inspiring. All the best
Thanks for sharing your wonderful journey 💞 And you were surely blessed to meet Lori Palatnik 👏🏼 She is such a delightful *INSPIRING* Rebbetzin, and to think she was personally involved with your life 🧐 That is a *Gift from HaShem* Baruch HaShem. Be blessed and encouraged on your journey 🤩
Thank you for sharing your inspirational story. My wife and I are very close to completing our conversion and this is just a confirmation we are on the correct path.
You brought me to tears. May Hashem bless you and fill your heart with everything good...materially and spiritually. And nachas from your kids and future generations!
This is such a small world. I think I've met her and her husband. If they have connections to AISH in Denver.... but even if not... hope! I live in Kansas now! Lol! I HAVE met them!!!!
So beautiful. We left the church over a year ago and it’s been a bit lonely learning on our own and trying to find out where we belong. This story gives me hope.
AMAZING story and needed, both wife and self have been awakened and are finding our path as well...blessed be HE our ONE & ONLY Sincerely'N'TRUTH d'Anthony and Tina
It was not an "intense journey" that Leah Schiermeyer took; it was an exodus, and falling away, from the Truth that can ONLY be found in Yashua Ha Moshiach Nagid Tsidkenu. Shalom to everyone!
Wow!! Leah's story is so inspirational. I just went and bought both hers and Lori's books on Amazon the second this video finished. I can't wait to read them!
I love hearing your story. May Hashem continue to bless your family. that is why there are Noachides and Atheists or soon to be Ex-Christian Both see the lies . One knows to keep looking, they are honest in in heart, They say no matter what the truth is I will accept it. They read Tanakh with sages. Apply the lessons see the truth. the other leans to own understanding unable to comprehend. For the soon to be Ex-Christian you been handed they key out of the dungeon. Isaiah 42 6I the LRD have called thee in righteousness, And have taken hold of thy hand, And kept thee, and set thee for a covenant of the people, For a light of the nations; 7To open the blind eyes, To bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, And them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.
It's still not clear to me if they converted to be genuine Jewish or that they became Noachides.. As with the latter, you could never address this as 'converting to Judaism'. (A genuine convert can call himself / herself Jewish but Noachides cannot.)
