Erin your teaching should be watched by all new artists of watercolor .. my reason is we see how you correct what you are not happy with, this makes me as a beginner not to give up … I worked on the blueberries for a few hours and never gave up until I was happy with the results and they turned out beautifully…I will give this little painting a good go .. I watch the video once or twice before I start to paint again thank you
Thank you so much Patti!😊 Your comment makes my efforts more than worthwhile!! I hope you enjoy painting this one; it’s not too elaborate but it ended up being one of my favourites 😊
This is a beautiful seascape Erin, the water looks great. I struggle with painting water, it terrifies me 😅. I also love the addition of the tree/bush on the side!
Thank you Dakota 😊 I definitely need more practice with water! This paper is still fairly new to me so I struggled a bit. It is supposed to lift easily so that may have been a part of my struggle 🤔
Love this Erin. I'm not really in to landscapes but this one is beautiful so I'll give it a try! Thanks for another great tutorial from one of my favorite instructors
This is another winner.....delightful. As a newbie what exactly do you mean by 'craft brush'? It is old and beat up? What size? Thanks much for sharing this 😃
Thank you Kathy! I’m glad to know you like this one because it’s one of my favourites😊 As for the brush, it’s so old all the paint and lettering has worn off but it is ( or was😂) a flat brush a little smaller than 1/2” wide and the bristles are very worn and banged up. You can just buy a cheaper brush and mush the bristles by pushing and smooshing them on a flat surface. You could also use a small sea sponge for this painting 👍 I hope that helps😊
Erin as usual I love your work. Is there dvd of your work available ? Love your accent the way you pronounce out as owt, reminds my wife and I of our ancestors from Gloucestershire ☺️👌
Oh thank you so much😊 No, I don’t have any dvds, just what I do here in RU-vid. It’s funny because I never think of me as having an accent but I am Canadian and we’re known for saying ‘out and about’ with a bit of one😁 It’s nice that it reminds you of Gloucestershire🥰
