My mate had a Cab deck beck then, and I was always slightly jealous even though i had the Jason Jesse Sun God deck lol not that we knew they'd end up being iconic graphics when we were ten.

Hell yeah! You can't beat the dragon 🐉 boards of the 80's. I always liked that his team board was smaller then the other riders. As a skinny little kid they were easier to ride. Good memories. 🤘🏼

80’s When Bones Brigade were strong…really pushing the envelope in vert skating…oh yeah,and Rodney Mullen! 🤯 the 90s saw the death of vert and a street skate explosion…popsicles seemed so tiny,wheels especially, huge pants, and Hip Hop …I miss the late 80s, early 90s when skating was punk rock! Sorry for the rant…I’m passionate about those days, Thrasher magazine was our bible… and all the awesome videos! Now I old,and have leg injury that will prevent me from every skating again 😢. Again,sorry for raging on that long. 🤘

I used to show up to the skate park at the great mall in Milpitas, CA extra early because he would be there sometimes before it opened. He would skate for about a half hour into public hours and you could talk to him and he would do tricks for us. This was back in like late 90s early 2000s. Very cool guy

Cab was born with scoliosis. His neck is not crooked because he did too many caballerials in the 80s, lol.

He grew up riding that kinda shit. I remember seeing him skate an early half pipe made outta plexiglass that was insanely over vert with super tight transitions and very little to no flat on a board that was at least half the size of a modern board with no nose or tail to speak of. And he SHREDDED! Definitely shaped pool and ramp skating.

@@snootdingo9365es he grew up skating pools but that isn’t a pool it’s gnarly over vert- and at his age it’s even more risky because if you bail up there, you won’t be sliding down the tranny on your knee pads you’ll be falling straight to concrete with body..the consequence of him falling would be terrible that’s why I think doing a trick on any over-vert transition is gnarly-like Bob fakie rocking the over vert on that concrete park down in the tropics with the sea shells on top think it’s called the Black Pearl 🤘🏻🤘🏻
