Today was a typical slow day in summer in our rural Bulgarian village. Lots of time spent in the garden and harvesting herbs ready for winter. slow living is a way of life here.

Gosh,your life is so peaceful, beautiful,elegant,slow,calm and independent. You need those Americans to fund and supply your politicians like they are in Ukraine so you can have all that lovely freedom and democracy you must be missing out on for sure plus that infrastructure. Freeways,malls,condominiums.

😃 hi there! Are you in American? Sorry if you aren’t - I’m assuming you are because you mention America. For some reason, the Americans have this notion that life over here in Bulgaria is under communism. It actually hasn’t been for quite awhile now. And yes, we do have democracy and all the other things that you expect in the west it’s actually a really lovely place to live. Take care God bless🌹 And yes, of course we all the facilities you mentioned in the nearby city, but obviously not in our village, which is why we like it😊

Not sure how to take your comments. Bulgaria is a better place to live than America and UK and the rest of Western Europe. The politicians in Bulgaria are no more corrupt than those in the West. Bulgaria still has so much to offer that has been lost in the west.

@@jeffashwell6056 I don't think you understand your own lives. I'm just listening now on the radio to some experts explaining how grim your lives are in eastern Europe. But don't worry the Yanks are going to rescue you all,raise your standard of living to the one you thought you escaped from and steal your oil,minerals and mineral resources as well. Once they've got Ukraine sorted,well why not spread the freedom and democracy. We all love freedom and democracy.

Sorry, this is very odd - don’t know who your experts are, but they’ve got it badly wrong! We have immense freedom here - much more than you do in America in Waze. You wouldn’t understand probably😊
