Yippi! More of "French with Peter"! This time, we learn about the word "bouture". Unlike the "couture" in "haute couture", the word "bouture" has nothing to do with fashion but it does have everything to do with botany! A "bouture" is a plant cutting! Nice involuntary play-on-words there Peter! Also, those drawings.... Dude. Amazingness.

Peter, I sent you an email some months ago, but I am not sure if you got it. So, I hope you read this comment. You always talk about not needing expensive or fancy art supplies to draw. I believe that is true, so i have a suggestion. A friend of mine and I like to draw. She is especially hood at watercolor, however i cannot afford great watercolor supplies. So, instead, I started painting/drawing with food coloring, or food dye. You know, that comes in the little drip squeeze bottles. A box will typically come with the primary colors. I mix them and dilute them in water. I would really enjoy watching you try this too.

I've never tried to create a wordle because I was afraid of what the people would think about my ability to create one long stingy snakelike sentence of phrases that had no end to the amount of people who would look on and read and see that they too had never created a serpent of a sentence that ate and slithered near and far in the minds of the citizens of the countries who were not even aware that they too would have to be more important than the hummingbirds and the turtledoves and the small, smelly creatures who reside in places unseen by the common folk of the world, which is known only to man as a rock that twirls under the sun because it wants to and it has to and it belongs there because of a man that would have been a great father and a son who played sports ball and ran and had muscles that were bigger than is head was long which incased his increasingly large brain that was only really there for the rest of his life but he was not just as good as he was bad because of his peanut mind mended by the maker of mark, who from time to time would take long walks along the board walk with his hands on his face because he forgot to lock the car because he tends to forget the truth about how he was actually the first lord of the holy grail and with that he would talk with frank and sally and mark and trees and shrubs and he would have never seen the movie before because the ticket machines were busting and broken because the jiggling janitors dance up and down the halls without care far who was looking and lurking and lying about how they stole gum from the store on the side of the highway which many buckling bikers randomly came to to joke about cars to the store clerk who cleverly responded without talking about jungles and Jewish jimmy who, believe it or not, was nor Jewish nor jimmy because of the card cardinal who took random identities from the people who needed them the most but never had a chance to take walks in the room of the house of the apartment that had never needed so easily and so early that even someone who knew what they would eat would be perfectly perplexed by the publication of their natural habitats which didn't have many trees or shrubs but had too many bees and wasps that stung and stuck to the walls of the building that no one slept in at all.

Seeing your art and how it always seems entirely unplanned but always looks amazing in the end, it's motivated me to get back into drawing. After watching this yesterday i dreamt you last night Peter; nothing too weird, just nosense. So we went to see a comedy show together, but before the show we ate at a buffet and you really liked pineapple. Then we split and at the end of the show i found you trying to make a very important phone call, but you couldn't. So i hugged you to give you some kind of comfort (O_O) and it felt like you were a bit skinny. Eat Peter! next time i want to feel a chubby hug :)

Peter, you’ve inspired my love for lines! I’ve always been a super graphic musculature and hyper realistic anatomy based artist... but you, you can make something surreal from a seemingly arbitrary skill set that actually takes a lot of skill somehow. Deductive reasoning is a little questionable there, but it makes more sense if you don’t think about it. Anyway, thank you Peter, and all your weirdness and freakish complexity and depth! Keep touring sketchbooks!
