A two-story wooden house with a total floor space of 85.52m2 located in the suburbs of Tokyo. The modest façade with a low-height gable roof is framed by greenery, giving a sense of the warmth of home.
Entering the entrance through a small pathway on the side of the building, a series of mortar floors lead up to the living room. The couple uses this free space as a study.
Further in is the living and dining room with an open atrium. The plaster-finished walls and ceiling, which leave traces of trowel, create an ever-changing expression. The couple enjoys adding their own personal touch.
The air conditioning is provided a radiant heating and cooling system that circulates water through plastic panels installed in several locations in the room. The windless heating and cooling system is very comfortable.
