He did have a lot to do and a major role with getting the track reopened for sure! Being the son of a 7 time cup champion and being the most popular cup driver for how many times in a row certainly has some worth and weight behind it even though he never won a cup himself 😉😀👍. Now we need nascar back at the facility ……at least trucks or xfinitiy if not cup for right now
The L.A. Coliseum is not a place for a track, North Wilkesboro is much better, the coliseum race is an embarrassment to the sport, should be used as a track and field venue and college football, never a car race. Period..
Once again, I wont watch a nascar race at the L.A. coliseum, didnt watch it last time, dont know who won, dont care, coliseum is for college athletics.. please dont go there again, or any stupid place like it. North Wilkesboro is a real track, thanks Dale..
Well, I do see your point about it being not intended for stock car racing, but it did have a perk of creating some new fans. Just wondering, what do you think of Bowman Gray? Not asking that sarcastically but they are similar venues but with different logistical limitations for nascar so I’m just wondering.
Wow! It's incredible to see this old track be revived for racing again. With the NASCAR All-Star event coming to North Wilkesboro in 2023, the future looks bright.
I was a kid in 96 for the last cup race there, wasn't there but watched it, now cup is coming back next year. It's not a points race but the allstar race. Idc if it's not a points race cup is back
