This is a song I wrote a while ago, but never released. I thought that with this month being 'Mental Health Awareness Month' it would be fitting to give you guys some insight into what it feels like to battle depression. For those of you battling, be courageous and overcome the fear of seeking help! Just hold on, better days will come.

This hit hard I lost my best friend to suicide and you can look in his eyes and you can tell he was hiding back the pain but nobody would help him and nobody was there for him he can be there for anyone he was there if you needed it you can be a stranger to him and he was there for you and now that he's gone it hurts a lot he have the fakest smile ever everyone was telling me after he committed suicide it help me reach out ppl that need help.

I can't even explain the pain anymore. How am I supposed to ask for help when I don't even know how to describe what I'm feeling. Or if I'm feeling at all. I'm so scared and I don't know what to do anymore and I have nobody left to help. They all left and now I have to fight alone again and what's worse about fighting alone is that I get to be alone with my thoughts. I just needed one person but they weren't there. There was a specific person I needed in my life to help me through it and remind me I'm okay but he left me alone. He took his life in front of me and threw me into a world of pain with no warning or guidance

What really breaks me down is when I forget to refill my meds or when I have a days worth left when I'm trying to balance my life and do my best to stay off those streets of homelessness... but when I get my meds filled it's normally the pharmacy saying there out of stock it will take two days to refill. Last week broke me down so much I would lay in bed at night crying meltingdown and shaking from the torture my mind puts me through. But I'm still here because I found you my dude. You helped me cry when I didn't want to when you said just hols on. Thanks bro for real.

Nunca me había sentido tan identificada con alguna canción, esté chico da mil años de vida con sus letras, me da la calma que necesitaba, desde la escuela, sufría de bullying, tuve pensamientos suicidas, pero nunca lo intenté, por mi madre, porque no quisiera verla sufrir más de lo que ya a sufrido, al pasar el tiempo, he aprendido a vivir con ese sentimiento que destruyó mi infancia, hasta el día de hoy, sigo recibiendo algunas ofensas, pero ya no les doy tanta importancia, aunque admito que a veces no logro soportarlo y exploto, rompo en llanto, me tranquilizo y finjo una sonrisa. Pero ahora que encontré a esté chico, sinceramente me he sentido mucho mejor, sus canciones me llegan al alma, estás son las canciones que de verdad valen la pena escucharlas.

daring to sing something and let your feelings out is incredibly strong and I have the greatest respect for you ... !! your songs help me so much they show me that there are other people who feel that way and you are never alone .. they help me to hold on ..i am very grateful for that .. you are just an angel

I have a 12 year old son. He put me on to you. As a mom I was scared. Then I was thankful cause of your words my son and I were able to talk . I thought we were good. Your pain is heard !
