This song is now stuck in my head! Sounds like Bruce. What site did you use for this? Did the AI write the music and words?

I’ll look it up and add it to the description. I gave it the lyric idea and chose the style and also put the sections in order and it did the rest.

Like the song. Cleaver...... however...... kinda scary. Not sure if this is a good thing or not. Lots of questions. What does this mean for human songwriters (elimination)? Appears anyone talented or not...can do this ? Real human singer songwriters are rewarded for their songwriting talent. So....I guess Awards shows will be gone ??? Seems it's the same as cheating on a test ?? What about copywrite issues? Just curious how this works ( is it a program) ? Maybe a topic for a Monday Show.🎸🎸🎸

I agree. It could help artists write songs and could take away a lot of jobs. I spoke about it on Mondays livestream and will definitely be talking about it in the coming weeks.

Yes I considered editing that out in the DAW but left it in.

🔴Here is an interesting topic you almost never see on the internet and or RU-vid. Perhaps something for your next episode; How about 0.14 gauge strings on a Dreadnought Guitar. Good or bad idea. If not a good idea, how about downtuning the guitar ½ or 1 step in that case? Many downtune their guitar anyway… Thanks, just my 2 cents.

Let me guess, you are currently considering 14 gauge strings for your D18? I say no way. Stick to 12 or 13.

@@jasper_north ChatGPT: Using .14 gauge strings on a dreadnought guitar can have several implications. Here's what you should consider: 1. **Sound Quality**: Heavier gauge strings like .14 can produce a richer, louder, and more resonant sound, which can be beneficial for a dreadnought guitar known for its powerful projection. 2. **Playability**: Thicker strings require more finger strength to play, especially for bends and bar chords. If you have a lighter touch or are accustomed to lighter strings, you may find .14 gauge strings challenging to play. 3. **Tension on the Guitar**: Heavier gauge strings exert more tension on the guitar's neck and body. Ensure your guitar is structurally sound and that the truss rod is properly adjusted to handle the increased tension. Prolonged use of heavy strings on a guitar not designed for them can potentially cause damage. 4. **Musical Style**: The type of music you play can influence your string choice. Heavier strings are often preferred for genres that require more volume and sustain, such as bluegrass or certain styles of fingerpicking. 5. **Personal Preference**: Ultimately, string gauge preference is subjective. If you like the sound and feel of .14 gauge strings and your guitar can handle them, they could be a good choice for you. If you are unsure, you might want to start with a slightly lighter gauge, like .12 or .13, and gradually move up to .14 if you find that you want more volume and depth from your instrument. Always monitor your guitar for any signs of stress or damage when changing to a heavier gauge.

@@jasper_north That would be my answer too but since I try to use .12’s on everything for playability and convenience then I would do that. I just keep some .13’s around for the odd occasion but never end up using them.

No such thing as too many guitars.

I have a pretty negative reaction to the AI music generation. I don't think it creates as much as borrows across enough sources not to be specifically detectable. That said, some of them are funny. And, we're probably all dinosaurs playing acoustic instruments.

Not a fan of the consideration of replacing human creativity and hard work with the mirage of AI.
