A special day
The cable cars are closed. Winter conditions have set in. The landscape and the atmosphere are calm as I make my way to the Burgfeld stand. It seems as if nothing is moving. The steps in the snow are still unfamiliar and the hike is strenuous, but beautiful.
The wind picks up towards the summit. It blows from the north-east on the ridge. It's unpleasant. I wait for a better moment to be able to start.
Then it's finally time. Despite the wind, I can take off. The flight is relaxing, but without thermals. Nevertheless, it was worth experiencing the peace and quiet and the effort.
