That bird you saw is the comorant, which is used to dive under water to catch fish. They can't swallow it because the owner has a way to control it.

The bamboo forest in Guilin is different from the bamboo forest in Sichuan and other regions. It is more like a Southeast Asian style bamboo forest.

Pomelo is a bit similar to grapefruit but it taste sweeter, mild in flavor and not that bitter. The bird is called Cormorants. In the ancient times fishermen used them to catch fishes . They stopped this practices now but only use them for tourism purposes.
