It was such a revelation to us when we stumbled on the idea of leaving the main tree taller, our son in law who is a master woodworker knew immediately what we were doing because he's built roof sections where he had many pieces coming into a point. 😀
I just had a thought, maybe you could add wire and beads for ornaments. Maybe a curly Q for the top. I agree with you Dave, get rid of daylight savings! Not radical, sensible. 😊
Great video. Beautiful work. I added some wings to a bird using your technique and over the years the adhesive on the tape failed and the wings fell off. Maybe too much weight to support.
I have a question, I would like to make a 3 sided tree so I could put a candle behind it. The tree would be soldered edge to edge, like the sides of a box. How can I alter the pattern? Also, thank you for the free pattern! Love your videos!
