Jayden Daniels was historically good in his Monday Night Football debut, a 38-33 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Daniels completed over 90% of his passes, throwing 2 TD's and rushing for another. We break down Daniels night, Kliff Kingsbury's role in it, and everything else from the Commanders huge upset victory.

I'm gonna give Jayden Daniels the biggest compliment possible: He's playing like me on Madden. He's reached MY level.

Impressed by JD, but very underwhelmed by Robinson’s running.

I am optimistically cautious. Truly enjoyed the game because I gave them no shot (defensively speaking) however JD and the offense was firing on ALL cylinders. Can that be replicated repeatedly ... the ALL cylinders perspective.

Over the top excited about JD and the O...but elephant in the room...this D, or this D coordinator has to improve or people/coaches need to be replaced. All Jayden does will be negated by this D at some point, sorry.

Maybe you know, Craig. What's going on with the Tress Way jersey giveaway? Do they plan on informing anyone if they won a jersey or not? I can't get a response from anyone at the email they provided. Thanks. HTTRWFTC4LIFE!!!

I love Jayden, and I don't disagree with any of the praise he's getting....BUT...let's reign it in a little. 1) None of these defenses are exactly juggernauts. We made the Bucs and Giants look good with 6 failed red zone trips vs NYG, and being mostly stymied until the Bucs clearly took their foot off the gas late, but let's keep the hyperbole down to a '7' until we see Jayden against actual high caliber defenses. We don't have very many, but we have a few on the schedule. 2) Let's remember that this is an adaptation league. Sam looked great for a stretch last year, and then came down to earth. Robert looked great for awhile. I'm not saying Jayden IS going to fail, but the challenge for when a QB has 'arrived' is when defensive coordinators find out what to take away and what to attack...and then the QB adapts. I want to get to the point where defenses start shutting Jayden down, when he has some bad games...and then he adapts. THAT'S when it will be time to wheel out the hyperbole. 3) Still terrified that the number of hits Jayden takes isn't sustainable. Yes, I get that the limitations of their offensive support personnel are such that they almost HAVE to do this, but saying we NEED to do a thing, doesn't make the thing not dangerous.

So a 3 game rookie qb gets nitpicked after 90% completion percentage, no turnovers, and a game sealing td pass? Craig you need to quit it.

@@craighoffman I’m using your own words. He’s been playing NFL regular season football for 3 weeks and if he misses a receiver or misses a read, it’s not that big of a deal. You make it a point to call out him missing reads. Hell, veterans miss reads. That’s what the actual hell I’m talking about. I still like your show tho! 👍🏿

I literally say “a star was born” in this segment. I spend most of it praising him and merely brought those up to say he wasn’t literally perfect in what I’ve called one of the greatest QB games we’ll ever see. Sounds like you are nitpicking me more than I am him lol
