I absolutely loved the guy who stopped to talk about the the Mickey poster…great conversation! Was he a veteran? Also…the Hitchcock chair! Great find!

Love those encounters 😊 Today was Senior's Day at VV, our 'Saver's'. A lovely senior gentleman was thrilled to share his tips on vinyl as we were looking through the lps. No need to tell him I was looking for resale and knew some (learned a few new things!) of what he shared, as the time he gave me deserved respect and simply listening.

My granddaughter found a Disney cell picture in a Goodwill in Georgia. It’s from Robin Hood and has 4 characters on it. A cell is a page from the actual drawings when the movie was made. It’s number and certified on the back,,,, it’s worth about $2000 ,,,, the more characters, the more money it brings. She was so excited because she’s an art major and knew exactly what it was when she saw it.

Womb cancer or Endometrial cancer is represented by the color peach 🍑 and by peaches themselves. That sweet little bowl with preaches on it would make a beautiful tribute trinket bowl - in case its still there when you go back - hint hint! Lol! (Yes I am a 5 year survivor!) That was a fun and sweet episode!

The casserole dishes were from Sur la Table (pronounced 'sir la tob'), a kitchen supply store started in the 1970's in the Pike Place Market in Seattle.

I sold 12 cloth napkins by them for 65.00 used on eBay. I keep their dish towels when I find them, they are great and last forever.

The rocket and characters are Tintin and Captain Haddock from Hergé. The little white terrier’s name is Milou in French.

You're ears should have been burning 'wink'. Oh it was fun to meet another vintage enthusiast of second hand items. She had an awesome set of mushroom mugs from the 70s. Great hobbyist set! That bank is Tin Tin by the Belgian illustrator. I grew up with those books in France in the 60’s. Great find!!!

A Hitchcock chair for $6.79 is unheard of! Buy it!!! I live a few miles from where the original Hitchcock Chair Co. was located in Riverton, CT. Great history there. Good find.

I found a single Disney egg cup for .25 at a garage sale. It was Dopey from Snow White, and I sold it on Ebay for 66.25! Disney sells!

That gentleman confirmed that what I've been saying. Disney sells. People collect Disney memorabilia. Especially old Disney memorabilia. He seems like a very nice guy! You found some nice pieces at that Goodwill today. Surprisingly decently priced too. I'm thinking that Pac Man coffee mug does something when it has hot liquid is in it hence why it's not to be put in the dishwasher. I would ruin it.

I don’t see the Hummingbird picture on eBay yet but would love to buy it. I’ve been watching a hummingbird nest from our front porch over the last month and the 2 babies flew away less than 1 week ago. I’m completely amazed by them. This would be a wonderful memory of them!! I absolutely love your videos! The prices at Goodwill seem so much cheaper compared to Minnesota.

Tintin is “that guy.” His dog is Snowy. The bearded gentleman is Captain Haddock. They are great books for reluctant readers, as they have to read to know what is going on in the comic, they can’t tell just by looking at the pictures.

My parents had a chair just like the one you bought. I left it behind for the new owners when I sold their place. I just had no room for it and I had a ton of other things they left behind so I hope the new owners enjoy the chair.

Met a lovely older Caribbean man today. We oohed and aahed over each other’s finds! Then he high fived me to each other’s treasures! Enjoyed that meeting, brightened my day. I found one of those Summer Stock chip and dip dishes plus a plethora of my favorite British tv DVD’s, he founds a brand new pair of Tod’s shoes! He said now he will look like a black Tommy Bahama going to pool parties with his new shoes.

One of my mother's aluminum trays had some deep scratches on it from a knife. I bought some aluminum polish and a polishing attachment for my drill and put some serious effort into it... it isn't perfect but it is so shiny now no one would notice, lol. Also successfully polished some scratches out of probably crystal glasses I found at Goodwill with my Dremmel and they make a polish called Simichrome for plastic and it looks like the same stuff st Maas Metal Polish so I've used the latter to bring vintage buttons back to life.
