Hello! It was a very interesting day filming, the tide was heading in under the bridge and the wind was strong. A bit of river rage too! This all happened before lunchtime! Filmed in 4K.
Its years since we had a boat on the Broads. looking at this video which is very entertaining but also a little scary at times, I think proves that more tuition is absolutely vital now. I look forward to more videos! Also, just subscribed!
Lol, well my first hire boat was clear gem and though basic it had everything I needed. I assumed the gem part was a nod to the previous boatyard that used to own or built them. Such as the ex Silverline boats at Brundall. But I’m sure someone will know. ☺️
4.50 - too much oversteering and just some basic boat handling tuition would help them and those leaving the quay at the start. Amusing to watch though 😅
The boat trying to turn at 11.45 again a little simple tuition of the boat wont steer astern and all he needs is to keep the helm to port and have a burst ahead. If it wont go round in one then slowly astern helm still to port and round it goes. The HW boat coming flying through and going no no no could of gone astern 😅
I looked out for you when I was there for a week at the end of June, went through 5 times but only twice during a reasonable hour of the day. I was getting ready to shout out but you just weren't there for me. 😪
I rest my case your honour tis why I holiday on the south broads in the summer and north off season 😂 bless em , it's really tough if the wind gets you . That poor person with the what look like dodgy rudder ......
Boats going in every direction possible this week. I always think people getting angry with each other just shows they have lost control... and I am not referring to the boat either! Have a good week.

I appreciate this is a family channel, but is it really necessary to delete every single rude word. After all you are filming the reality of what it can be like as mostly novices piloting various types of boats on the Broads. Personally I very much doubt too many people would be hugely offended by the odd swear word brought about by moderately high stress situations, it's the reality.
