Lots of great info. Your videos are a huge help for planning my farm. Thanks for the videos

So inspiring and made me think twice as well. I sometimes feel that hand digging (swales) rob me of production time, but I guess scheduling and priorities will solve that. PS: I chuckled at "it's on, it's off" (Venture brothers reference). Thanks Diego, for the insights and perspectives.

I do want to say. That I am starting a small farm in my backyard. I am retired with a very limited income at this point I about $500 per month. However when I get my farm up and running I will be sending you Money every week because I think you are the cats meow in the Small farm and even large farm business

Love this video. I’m signed up for Curtis’ work shop in February and am really looking forward to seeing Erik’s farm. I just bought 7 acres in the green belt of Riverside CA and will be planting 1 1/2 acres of beds with the rest being orchards. Thanks Diego!

Just down the road from me. The biggest growing challenge we have is, of course, heat. Any closed area like the caterpillar tunnel is going to get VERY hot in the summer. Does Eric have problems with that? When growing in summer I use shade cloth structures rather than an enclosed greenhouse. He has a great local farm. Despite popular belief, you can grow in the desert! It just takes more love and care.

Yes, we talk about that in another video (hasn't been published yet) he will swap poly for shade cloth. And also roll up sides.

That is SO untrue. You don't need to spend allot as a hobby farmer. If you want to take things serious, you need to invest until you bleed. Only then you can make your farm profitable.

It's still form follows function. He went with that form because it has the function of being modular and mobile. That's why the saying is what it is. That's it for critique, Great video! Great presentation and awesome public speaking. Love the content!

in terms of cost staving i think the watering timers are not much of an issue and are worth the investment.

The title is spot on! I've recently expanded from a "glorified gardener" to a full on farm selling premium all natural produce to my local health food store. I've bootstrapped the whole thing by borrowing equipment getting freebies and making due. It aint always pretty but it's working. Doing it this way though, ya got to get creative. Hence the name of our farm Creative Seeds!
