You know a Pizza Tower/Sugary Spire game is good at what it’s doing when literally just trying to go as fast as you can still gives you a B or A score. You get good scores just for being fast, and that’s what these games are all about. Fucking love Pizza Tower man. The beginning of Molasses Swamp was satisfying as FUCK.
what's even better, is that if you go fast while doing all secrets and keeping a combo for the whole level, THAT'S how you get p rank, any mistakes is okay if you can still get the combo going and I love it
if he was going for all s ranks he probably wouldn't even have to tackle the secrets, combos in ss work a lot more differently score-wise than ones in vanilla and you can get a TON of score from them and the fact he managed to keep a combo for every level says a lot

Yeah, it's based on the controls of Pizza Tower's older demos. From my experience it feels a lot harder to get going but there's way higher potential for s p e e d when you do well
@@kab43 thats because in demos peppino uses a mach 2 jump sprite when jumping off walls, insant superjump cancel and in the golf demo peppino was able to grab without falling in the air
I've actually played Sugary Spire. Plus, some leaked demo builds. In the demo being played in the video, that's the PUBLIC demo. They used the EGGPLANT build for this game, which has the heat meter, but it does nothing at all because they didn't do anything with their code on the meter. Mostly it's because the team will use the final game as the base. Along with some other new features.
