A surprise weekend get away! I finally bought it!🥰 

We love Savannah and all the history and amazing architecture! Have been twice....both times in the Spring while the azalea's have been in full bloom. Being from Canada we really loved seeing all the tropical foliage, plants, live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, and of course the many kinds of Palm's. So gorgeous, and so many beautiful gardens and parks! Seems like everyone has a little hidden manicured garden tucked in between their buildings and homes. You peek through a wrought iron fence and it's like out of a magazine! I could sit at that gorgeous HUGE fountain in Forsythe park all day! Yes, I knew that pewter set was what you alluding to! I've coveted that set since Paula started to use them on her tv show too! Good for you to finally get a set for yourself! What a great little get-away trip for you and Ernie! :) ~M~

I just knew it! Lol. Love love them. I have smaller version without stand an I use mine too. Enjoy using it. Oh, love love pastry roller. Now I want one.

Oh Anna, beautiful gift to yourself & family. Had to watch this one 3 times, every time I turned it on one kid or grandchild needed to talk. No worries this one was well worth 3X. Familiar areas that I travel, Savannah is the home of the Girl Scouts of America & as I was an instructor back in the day I have spent some time there. I used to go visit one of my sisters who lived in Marietta, at the time, sometimes several times a year, depending on airfare prices…her & I drove over to Savanna one summer to visit our brother who was stationed near there…I absolutely loved Georgia and the amazing people who lived there…thank you for taking us along with you, it brought back precious memories! My husband and I went to Savanna Georgia 16 years ago we wanted to eat at Paula Deen restaurant but they were too busy, the waiting was till like 8 pm so we just went shopping at her store and went back to Myrtle Beach because that’s where we were staying. What a great find you found on your trip. On there website it says that they have free shipping at $75 . Have a Blessed day!

Anna, thanks for this fun video. I love the short getaways. We live about an hour from Galveston. It’s not that far as the crow flies but we have to go either over the causeway or the way we go from our houses along the seashore and cross over the bridge to get to the island. But even though it’s so close Galveston has a atmosphere all of its own and we love to go there and spend the weekend and do it A couple of times a year. You we always feel like we’re somewhere far away. About the measuring cups and spoons I absolutely love them I immediately looked on Amazon and they were $250. Which I would pay. I do want to recommend you not put them in the dishwasher. I do not put any of my knives or my cookware in the dishwasher. My cookware is 30 or 40 years old and still looks like new. Anyway, glad you got to have some fun. Love in Christ

What a gorgeous measuring set. We went to Paula Deans restaurant while we were in Tennessee last year. I bought a cup towel that says “ Your the butter to my biscuits” lol! Since it was close to Christmas I also splurged and bought a gingerbread bread house to add to my collection. Enjoy making special memories, you deserve it.❤️

As soon as you hit Georgia I knew where you were going! ❤️My husband and I loved Savanah, we’ve been twice. I think we stayed in the same hotel as you the first time and when we went again we stayed in an airbnb in Oglethorpe Square (pretty sure it was that one). We went in February both times and the weather was perfect. There’s so much to see and so much history to immerse yourself in. It’s a very walkable city. Thanks for taking us along! And I loved your splurge, can’t wait to see it in your home!

I wish I could figure out how to send a picture- I have had my measuring spoons and cups for years. ( they were tins woodsmen when I bought them) I have the fish collection. I got my mom the dragon fly, my best friend and sister in law the fleur de lys sets. They make much more - like canisters, ornaments, and all sorts of stuff. They are so nice to work with as well. One of my handles broke and they fixed it and polished it and sent it back to me. Also, the Paula Deen store in Savannah really will ship. I have ordered from them before as well. We have so much of the same taste 😊

My husband and I went to Savannah in August one year. Big mistake! We couldn’t even enjoy it because it was so hot and humid. It’s beautiful there. We did go back several years later and really enjoyed it.

love Savannah we went for 2 days my feet were killing me I had sandals like you hubby sneakers he was smarter than me.We stayed in the Kehoe house ate at The Pink lady so good! if we go back I am going to try the place you ate it
