I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

Extinction is an incredibly made map. It’s so thought out and detailed, down to the old abandoned tables, and the broken down structures where previous humans tried to survive. It’s so interesting.

I plan to go back to Extinction when I can track down a next gen console. My old base model Xbox One struggles and then gives up when I try to play that map. Extinction is definitely one of my favorites.

@@NeverTheLess-s5t I'm on The Island, currently the king of the sea with my four basilosaurus(four of them are not over Lvl 100 but combined can take down all creatures in the ocean), also haven't started getting artifacts cuz I need to study for my national exam. Did not want to bother getting land tames yet... Pretty much I'm in the early game if you ask me.

@@andrejhofer2007 (still on island )sadly, i haven't play ARK even after my national exam, all looks unfamiliar and I'm not willing to sacrfirce my time for ARK,it's too time-consuming, but the journey I've been through is a amazing one. Enjoy your game cuz tertiary studies are so hard to cope with even without playing any video games. Maybe I will play ARK in the future?

@@ruxiangg7312 I understand. I've been burned out from playing on The Island, so I'm taking a break for about a month before continuing. Can't wait to get to the other DLCs, particularly pumped for Aberration, but I'm also going to be entering the equivalent of high school in my country and I've heard it's pretty tough so I'm definitely taking some downtime rn. Good luck with your studies and hope you'll play in future :)

Extinction is the first map I really stuck with (only been playing the game a few days so I'm still new a/f). Good tames (if you look for them), good farm, good base locations... only complaint I have is dealing with dehydration all the time. Even that's only when I'm trying to tame something and get jumped by corrupteds, coz I have this weird tendency to get eaten when I stop to fill my canteen...... damn kapros

I have an island map with my friends and i play extinction solo. I am more advanced in extinction already. The map of extinction caters more to my taste. It is much more easier to get food because there are many more creatures walking in the sactuary killing each other. And the overheating problem isnt so bad once you get the first armor and some resistance points. The only thing i need to keep an eye on, on this map is water, but thats also no problem since i build my base on the ground in sanctuary at a pond.

Also this is the best map for power leveling yourself and your dinos. PvP you and your dinos can damage drops and veins. PvE you can't damage your drops and veins

Extinction has so much endgame content it has OSD of different difficulty element nodes and of course beating the alpha king titan with your own titans and mutated and imprinted Giga’s

Gen 2 best map by far, beautyful as heck, giant map, best map for resources especially with dedicated storages + stryder, youll have so much stuff you wont even know what to do with it. Extinction is amazing for challenges and to play without bringind dinos from other maps at least until you have reach the point of having 2 breeding gigas.

Not to mention the VERY common Tapejara spawn in the sanctuary. I spotted about 5 or more there when I just spawned in at the sanctuary.

I love extinction, I just got here yesterday, I got kinda tired of PVP so I decided to go to my old PVE gen2 map a very popular trading server I think it 348 or 382 on PS4, I got a free gift from a few old friend a decent velon and 3 female and 1 male equus, I used to trade on that server alot I kinda miss grinding 20-30 velo stalks a day then trading 3-11K poly for Gigas and meks and everything in-between, then just cracking open a cold one and chilling at my base with my favorite kapro, Jimbo who always lived in my base with me since he was my first tame on that server, then I'd farm ele for my Tek gennies and breed my Gigas and shadows,was a peaceful time, one that I miss dearly,

Whilst in extinction my officialdifficuly is 5 however I still find dinos levels such as 10 and 20 and im not quite certain how to make higher levels spawn. Is there a certain way say remove all dinos to make a specific dino spawn with the max level?

I just started extinction to take a break from fjordur and I gotta say this map is very unique. Pretty bummed about no nighttime but it def makes up for it. I must be lucky with the level cause i snagged a 180 moschops and carno. I also brought my desmodus cause that elixir is too op

this is also the map that brought with it the coolest yet most op and unbalanced creatures they were so op and unbalanced that they received multiple patches to balance them out. every one of them was mega op and I mean every single one the velonosaur the managarmr the gacha the snow owl the gasbags the meks the titans even the enforcer got a nerf

To tame titans you need to destroy the corruption nodes on their bodies, you don't knock them out, search up a video on how to tame the Titans

Extinction this is the last one I'll comment on since I don't have any information on the other two maps inside pretty much left when this map just got added in on Xbox. This was the map that made me quit the game only because when I was playing on official every single Alpha Omega tribe ran to the servers and instantly got themselves fully equipped with every single tech-related item you can think of. And then they invaded every single server wiping it out one by one with their tak superiority. And for a time that giant robot what's the best way to destroy bases. I'm happy that did survive what I will there the call the extinction. But none of us back then should have had to deal with that and leave for so many years until things like that got fixed. The Titans also didn't help. But now being back to the game and being on an unofficial server that actually doesn't have this in its roster because apparently it's just a map nobody wants to go on I can't go and experience this unless I go to a official server which I refused to. Now I will say I have played a little on solo after I cheated in giving myself the ascended three times. And that it looks like an interesting map but I don't have nothing to say about it being the one map I really do hate because it for so many new things. If you are going to check out and play this map make sure you have good tames. A few boss rexes will definitely get you around the map quite easily

I think I found a glitch, but you can build pillars pick up the ones on the ground and build in the sky. I think I’ll try that. And using turrets to keep the pt’s away
