You read my mind also, I'm totally blind so I can't see her, but to me that's an act… You would not be acting that way if your ex was on the floor at least I wouldn't, I'd be screaming my head off and hysterical. She's so false.
Wait a second, she started stabbing him while he was sleeping? And she only got 7 years?! Isn’t that premeditated murder? It’s not like it was a heat-of-the-moment scenario. Dude was SLEEPING! She had ample time to think about and consider her actions, and made the conscious decision to try to execute her boyfriend. Wtf 🤬
This is my first thought as well….. I get that he’s not a paramedic….. but he’s gotta be able to put pressure on one of the wounds at the very least…..
@@BobbyDigital6411You can hear someone on the radio giving the clear to the paramedics to come inside. Cops need to make sure the place is safe before the paramedics come in, or else what would happen if the psycho has a gun and kills them? That vid was probably the first few mins of the cop entering the place, it's not like he interviewed her for 5 hours and then helped the guy.
Agravated battery?? That was attempted murder and just 7 years, you gotta be kiding me,if it was the other way around,he would havegone for a long while
I think perhaps there was to much damage to simply be helped by someone who wasn’t a medial professional and likely was worried it would injure the man worse :/
I'm pretty sure in emergency situations cops are supposed to take down the threat without helping the injured (im not a professional so thats my best guess)
I’m so sorry to the guy, it’s sad that this happened to him, but the relief I felt when you said he survived is something to share… I’m so glad he made it…
It’s awful funny that she didn’t stab him before he said he was moving out. He was moving out of their home, so she stabbed him. She didn’t like it that he was moving out and leaving her and their baby, so she stabbed him, plain and simple. She apparently hasn’t had any postpartum depression/psychosis since she gave birth, but then a year after giving birth, she suddenly has it. She didn’t want him to leave her, so she stabbed him.
@voidtheproto6680 I've only recently started watching this channel, but after seeing this one riddled with errors, I can't watch it with any confidence that it's correct. They are either doing it for engagement or they're incompetent. Either way I don't think I'll be back after this one.
Why wasn’t she put in handcuffs after just stabbing someone!? And why wasn’t the officer rendering aid to the man stabbed on the floor!? And removing the baby from the situation!? I mean hello!?
Works at a mental health facility, Dad worked for prison system, Mom is a social worker> uses understanding of mental illness to try and avoid punishment. Shameful. Thank God this young man survived!
Depends on situation tbh. And yes studies show we like smooth talkers and attractive people more (not saying she is but in general). Shows up in voting too.
I don’t know about cute, but I will say the skin tone and gender may have played a significant role in her getting a light sentence. That’s our shitty justice system for ya!!
Brother Ethan: "There was a lot of fighting, arguing....He was yelling like "Help me, stop stabbing me, your killing me".....And shes stabbing him with "Strange Visions". Cop: "Must be Domestic violence." Almost dead dude: "Officer, Im over here dying. Help me Sir" Cop: "Hold on Sir, Im doing an interview here. Can you hold the baby->The Ambulance is downstairs. Please stop interrupting." Cop: "Please continue Ma'am" What TF country is this?? Theres like 272 things wrong with this picture.
Regular, locked wards for the mentally ill aren't fantastic, and their quality is usually indicative of the hospital that they are part of. That said, mental hospitals for the criminally insane are no walk in the park. My comment is based on places in the USA and not other countries, where the quality of both jails and hospitals are quite different, with many better and many worse.
"no one can be sure if she's telling the truth" avoiding eye contact for the duration of the interview, talking with forced high pitched voice and "weeping" without any tears i'd say it's more likely she isn't telling the truth than she it.
I used to date a cop, and he said even if you're innocent, always ask for a lawyer before you speak. Always. I've also watched a DUI video, where a cop pulls over an off duty cop, and tells the man to say nothing without a lawyer. Sure, they may need you help, and if you have a child or loved one MIA, I'd skip the lawyer, but for this woman who clearly did it, a couple of awful days waiting for a PD is worth her maybe shaving years off a sentence.
Bruce Rivers the Criminal Lawyer (defense attorney) is always, always emphasizing this on his channel (Criminal Lawyer Reacts). Convinced me--I used to think, naively, that if you're innocent, you not only don't need a lawyer, it will just make you look guilty if you ask for one. Now I would recommend to EVERYONE not to talk to the cops without a lawyer. Except for an urgent missing child/person situation where, as you said.
I'm just so happy this story has someone that lived through it. Hope the child is doing well. Could tell when she was wining, made no sense. That should be attempted murder. She stabbed him with scissors.
You didn't watch many cases, did you? If you smoked some and killed someone afer it, no one cares about the smoking. He just asked to know if she was high while doing it.
Anyone can wine and mope. This wasn’t anything hysterical. She was clearly faking. Not to mention that in all that pretend crying act, she failed to shed even one actual tear….
I'm only 40 seconds into this video and I paused it because I remember seeing this body camera footage somewhere else a while back. I almost didn't watch _this_ video because I thought I had seen this. And when I saw just the body camera footage, I was convinced she was going through some kind of mental health crisis and had no idea what she was doing. I figured that was that. And just when I was about to hit back and find something else to watch, "...her boyfriend survived and is ready to tell the police everything they need to put her in prison for life." ...what?!?! Okay, you have my attention. Because I believed her the first time I saw it. Wow. Okay, I have to watch this now.
The cop at the start seemed a little more interested in determining what happened, instead of assisting the dude on the verge of death lying on the floor.
*So, she was watching him sleep while her mind wandered into disgust, hatred and betrayal, so she started stabbing him out of malice and spite.* Then, she tried to lie her way out of it when she should have known better to keep her mouth shut and invoke her right to a lawyer considering her dad ran a prison! *I am glad so many criminals talk without a lawyer, but I'm also still perplexed that so many are so stupid they talk freely.* It's even rare, seasoned criminals are experienced enough to simply say, "lawyer".
The boyfriend was moving out. A sign of rejection to her. She went ballistic. Her defense lawyer will claim mental illness or say the boyfriend was abusive or narcissistic. This is a common tactic. A "dark" figure. That's classic too.
Man I thought this too - dude was prepared to let a man die so that he can let some deranged woman play victim?! Cop needs to re-enter training. His priorities are f'd.
It takes about 2 seconds to think this one through. I can't believe so many people are asking this question. I suppose it's an easy way to sht on someone who has a very dangerous and hard job, because that's fashionable these days, it also gets lots of likes too! I figured it out! Yay!
7 years isn't enough time. This guy needs to get a restraining order against her when she gets out. & The worst thing is she could get out earlier than that for good behavior
Real question: is there a difference between attempted murder and murder for sentences or the severity of (possible) punishments? The fact that medical staff managed to save someone or not shouldn't matter in court.
He sleeps on the couch and was moving out. Mystery solved. He was sleeping, totally unprovoked. She should have gotten minimum 25 years. Not even her brother believed her BS.
Where are the tears? All i hear is that whining cause from the sound of it, she's more scared of being caught than of almost possibly killing her ex-boyfriend 😮😮
So she was acting weird and having 'mental issues' and perhaps having depression after having her baby but her parents were fine with her looking after said baby and not getting her ANY help whatsoever?!
Idk why people think a mental hospital is the easy way out. Its probably worse than jail. I would rather be in jail than genuinely crazy people. I've seen it first hand, and i wouldn't wanna be stuck with them.
