Combat abilities: In this game, locational damage exists, so with tenos when you have plenty of stamina ,use kick (which is right click ) also when in combat with other creatures as a teno, it is best to aim you back at them, this way when they are charging, right click, it will deal great damage towards them and leave them only being able to attack the least vunerable area of your body. Combat against Teno as Teno: AVOID attacking other tenos from behind, because like you, they are also able to kick your most vunerable area being your head. To combat this, it is best to attract the other teno player towards you and whilst doing this , quickly turn around to use your kick ability. Another method is also positioning yourself where you are able to attack their sides using normal or alt atack and/or front but by using kicking. Combat again Carno as Teno: For this, it is best to attempt in doging whilst a carno is performing its charge attack and attempting to attack the carno from its behind and sides as those are it's areas at which it is unable to attack. Knowing that carnos have a bad turning radius, you must use this knowledge as an advantage for yourself , so juking the carno by attempting quick and sharp turns can effectively work as whislt the carno is in mid turning, use this time to apply minor damadge or even slight damadge as it may speed up the proccess. If you are unable to do so, escaping is the best option, places like the forests will allow you to make swift and sharp turns that a carno will struggle to do so, another place is rivers, knowing that tenos are great swimmers whilst carnos aren't, find an area within a river that you will be able to go through quickly and safely incase from deinos, doing this you will have much quicker time in order to escape and let alone runnign further away from the carno ( WARNING -Deinos may be able to grab you so be careful when doing this) This would instead likely increase the chance in which the carno will become the Deinos meal instead of you, making your job much easier. After stuning a carno with your tail kick aiming to the head, the kick deals more damage and cost less stam, using the claws instead of kicks is more usefull against utahs but not carnos
