@@karthikrox6310 I always was. It was never the first diagnosis, second and third depended on how long into the episode it was. If he proposes a second/third diagnosis, and there's still so much time left to the episode, that's not it. It was always predictably dramatic. Well, most of the time.

Intelligent, probably. Skilled, not even close. House's diagnostic skills have been honed in on for year and he has those instincts that Wilson nor anybody else will ever have. He can look for the tiniest of details and match them up with some big ones and make an accurate diagnosis. Medicine is less of a science, it's an art.

@@catwesage I don't think so. In addition to the fact that the word they're saying doesn't sound like what you've suggested, medically it doesn't seem to line up. Amiodarone is an anti-arrhythmic drug. While arrhythmia is a potential side effect, it is far down the list of side effects. Inamrinone is used in cases involving cardiac issues, and side effects include both arrhythmia and thrombocytopenia, which Cuddy lists as potential side effects. Inamrinone is a synonym for amrinone. The adoption of the former name is specifically intended to avoid confusion with amiodarone.

Neat how he filed halfway through the cane just enough that it didn't snap when two men were struggling and tugging on it, but when house was using it normally

It is a little funny yes. But I think shear stress is what made it break. Try this: take a candy bar and try pulling them apart to break in the middle and then try breaking it by pushing the two ends of the bar down while pushing the middle of the bar up. You will see that it is easier to break by using the second method. In this scene, Foreman and House were either pushing the stick towards each other or pulling it away but the stick is sturdy enough to not break. But when House leaned against it, it caused shear stress that led to the breakage,

chiaki I do and it was unlikely he would have gotten it out with the head intact(which he did because it was moving and alive) unless he had experience. You should try finding ticks on small dogs or cats when they’re basically a speck. Closer to the ground more ticks. I corkscrew them out with a hemostat in order to keep the things with the head attached or infection can occur. Definitely not easy to find them all at least on the first look over

Nah they're fine to find. They have spots where they are most likely to be and they can be removed by using your fingernails and just taking them off.

If you live near forests or densely green areas, ticks are a common occurrence in pets. Nowadays there are all sorts of tick removal kits. The best solution I've used on my cat is alcoholic gel. The ticks will find it hard to breathe or just die. You can then remove from the root the tick.

This show in a sense is so realistic you would never know what just happened between house and Wilson unless you watch this clip over and over like I did. If you go back to when cuddy asked for Wilson’s help you can only briefly see house and Wilson communicate with just their eyes. Essentially Wilson knew cuddy was wrong and was too scared to say anything and buys house time. You really have to watch the clip closely to catch this ultimately fantastic acting.

To everyone in the comment section who ask "why does anyone ever doubt house?"... House is wrong many times which are referenced several times in the show but they rarely show it. They show only those cases where house is right and even in those cases he gets it wrong several times before stumbling on the right diagnosis. He's a genius not a psychic. And he has more morality than he likes to accept. Even house doesn't trust house always. That's why he always respects and keeps close the type of colleagues who always doubts him and prevents him from doing something stupid.

More than likely, there was around the time this started with the long form clips, a series of very long form fan made montages and anthology clips that were very popular and also amazon prime picked it up. Im sure that fox gets something from plays on amazon, so they publish this here and make paltry ad revenue and they get paltry revenue from that. Not bad for a show thats been off the air for about ten years and they already own the rights to.

@@justsomecommentchannel8602 Someone who is fit and in shape has lower heart rate than an average Joe. I once read UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping resting heart rate was 45 when he was still fighting. Staying in shape is an excellent way of keeping heart rates low

This is super late but house frequently brings people to the brink of death just to figure out what’s wrong. House is also a massive narcissistic and doesn’t actually care about his patients. It’s all about the puzzle, and he frequently disregards precautions and ethics to solve these puzzles because he wants to say “I told you so, I’m right, you’re wrong. Not only are you wrong, you’re stupid”

House belongs to the 14% of people who don't have a sense of ethics, and the 2% of people who are hyper efficient. Whereas other people are afraid of being judged... or sued, House only cares about efficiency. He tramples all over other people's feelings to get results. Furthermore, contrary to what others say, House DOES care about the patients. However, since he doesn't have a sense of ethics, he doesn't find meaning in their gratitude. Rather, he finds meaning in defeating death. At the pinnacle of the series, House gives emergency treatment to a woman. He does everything correctly but she still dies. Afterwards, he feels so upset that she died that he almost kills himself with drugs. House does care, just not about your feelings.
