I thought the show would reveal that Alex Drake caused the car crash to get Yvonne out of the way so Alex (pretending to be Spencer) would have a better chance at getting back with Toby. But they never revealed that. Its a missed opportunity if you ask me and makes more sense for that plot point to occur if Alex/A.D was behind it.

I think Emily’s dad died of a heart attack? Potentially had left the army due to his heart problems before he died? But they didn’t go into much detail on it

Ian’s death was confusing

just want to say one thing about mrs cavanaughs death because in the show she is seen alive in a flashback that takes place in like 2008 or 2009 but she is seen getting killed in 2000 lol

The thing I find most confusing about Ian's death is that he had rope bruises on his neck when he was found after you know the whole gun fiasco. I was very confused on how he was able to leave, or get carried that quickly. I guess I always sort of assumed that Mona got him away from the church, however that'd work, and made it look like he'd committed so that the story about his origina rope 'death' wouldn't raise too much worry. That'd explain the note made up out of A messages as well. I don't even know if that makes sense at all but when watching Pretty Little Liars it did for me, I guess I just always assumed it was that way, though, him actually committing himself because of the NAT videos being able to ruin him makes sense as well, just less imo. On second thought, the framing by A would further make sense because he confessed to killing Alison, when, if my memory serves me right, he had absolutely nothing to do with it at all. Why else would that be done, if not to shove suspicion off of Mona, who thought she had killed Alison (when she actually hit Bethany).

The first time I watched PLL for the first time was in 2020 and I REFUSED to believe that Maya was actually dead. I went on just waiting for her to make her comeback but that never happened. I had to take it to Reddit to find answers lol. Maya just seemed to work so well in the show and was no insufferable like the rest of Emily love interests. (Looking at you Paige)

Rewatching PLL again and the resurgence of all of this content is amazing yes

i took notes on the days in the episodes, and the death dates i have for characters are: ian thomas was november 23rd, 2010 (the season one finale, melissa would’ve turned 23). i have lyndon’s death date listed as october 25th, 2011. (there’s an unspecified 6 day leap between 3x12 and 3x13) the guy miles that spencer hires to find toby is murdered on november 14th, 2011. his body is the one spencer found in the woods in 3x21. miles dies in 3x20. darren death date is november 28th, 2011. i refuse to pay attention to the extended november, and i’ve carried on as time should after november ends, so i have jessica’s death date as february 29th, 2012. then shana’s death date is march 1st, 2012. killed by the hands of aria. with how i’ve depicted the timeline, emily’s birthday is january 9th, 1994. caleb’s birthday is january 20th, 1994. ezra’s birthday is october 6th, 1985.

one of the weirdest plot holes in pll is that Jessica was revealed to be killed by Mary and buried by Charlotte while she was already dead, but literally when her body was found her hand was sticking out of the ground😭
