Yeah, that storm system hit Texas just before it moved into your area. Had the worst outbreak in 25 years, and was impressive to see the storms roll in. Glad you guys made it out safely.

I was kinda excited for a big storm. it had been a while and my city was under several alerts and a tornado watch .... we proceeded to be the one spot in Texas near the storms that didn't even get that much rain

Crazy story Harrison! I live in an area with pretty mild weather (in terms of tornadoes and such, we get the occasional bad snowstorm though!), so its wild to hear stories about this kind of stuff! I have no idea how my city would deal with such an event. I'm glad to see you were ok!

I like to do a thing I call ‘rain chasing’. It’s basically storm chasing, just without the tornadoes. It’s just rain and light thunderstorms. For me, it still has all the fun parts of storm chasing, while also being safe. *I see this as an absolute win.*

I’ve never seen a tornado ever, all I’ve seen was some thing very rare. 6 water spouts all at once. This was in Australia, where I live. Most of the water spouts were ones that looked like “ ropes “ aka basically the size of an EF0 tornado. There was a massive one too.

I've seen a funnel cloud around a year ago. Saw a dust cloud as well under the funnel so... You can guess how I was feeling during that time. *STRESS* thankfully the tornado did not form

In 2020 our town was literally composed. A tornado hit the town and had went over my school, and about 6-7 more schools. Several neighborhoods had been hit and unfortunately, some people lost their homes. An EF1 had hit town.

Been right next to a tornado when it formed. Just an F1 but still scary as hell and sister and I are still traumatized. We both still get bad anxiety whenever weather gets severe. But this was damn funny dude! Glad no one was hurt.

As someone who has experienced a few tornados, I think it's crazy some of you want to experience it lol. There is almost nothing that instils more fear into me than a tornado, the sound of the ripping winds is just horrifying

Fun fact: where i live tornadoes are extremely rare, but still you can get to see a cone of dust, sometimes big enough to scare, but its just nature vacuuming the carpet, nothing major

I'm also a weather geek mostly Tornadoes and in my area there is a 0.01 chance that a tornado will spawn. Even though everyday is HOT I've never actually seen a tornado but I wish I did.

in saskachewan the weather is so unpredictable that even experts can't forcast stuff. its not that we always get big storms (usually we do though) its just the weather changes so fast that no one can keep up.
