Yesterday a tornado swept through our community and it was very scary! Thankfully everyone is ok. Praise the Lord He kept us safe. Praying for all those affected by the storm as they begin to rebuild.

Oh my goodness thats crazy! Praise God your husband got home when he did and thete were no fatalities. Ive lived through 2 tornadoes living in SC. One of them was when i was in middle school and it hit the parking lot of the elementary school just a block over. My brother was in the elementary school building at the time. It caused a 3 car pileup but didnt go to the school. Tornadoes are so odd with how they move

Oh my that sounds so scary! I am amazed how they move so fast! Hitting some houses and others get missed. I also didn't realize that so many other states were affected by that big storm on Tuesday either.

@AlmasBookJourney yes they happen here. A few years ago one went through a community about an hour away from us. Thankfully I've never personally experienced one.

So glad you’re safe, Alma! 😮Tornadoes are crazy. We actually had a warning in February in Wisconsin, which is VERY unusual. We had a weird weather snap which made conditions favorable to them. 😳 Picture This IS very fun. I try to informally join all the things 😂. I’m reading to my kids often so it’s not hard to join! My favorite types of Amish books are like when they are secretly undercover police or something. 😂😂😂 I read too many Amish inspirational as a young adult. Your Beauty & Beast one sounds FUN! Who is the author? 🤩 that’s my favorite fairy tale.

Thank you! It was quite a scary time. I was just amazed by just how fast it popped up! Belle is written by Sarah Price. I believe there are other books in this retelling series as well.
