We have to remove everything before we can really start on the assembly. In this episode, we tackle the rear suspension, tire size for the front, and underside clean-up!

I have a few LTG’s running in airboats. My recommendation is to not run more than 18 psi boost unless you pull the motor apart and at least add ring gap to .022 /.024. Also run a high quality oil with additives to combat LSPI. And absolutely run a Tracy Lewis catch can. It will provide more safety against LSPI and keep the intake valves much cleaner. Good luck! I’ll be following your build!

It's cool to see that somebody else is doing an LTG swap, I'm swapping one into an 88 Pontiac fiero with the matching six-speed from a Buick regal, one thing I did notice that you have a front wheel drive version, I don't think you're going to be able to use that intake it points the wrong direction, how are you going to do the harness and computer setup?, is it going to be a factory harness and factory ECM or you guys going stand-alone custom

Your swap sounds interesting! We ended up using a Camaro Intake for our swap. We also modified a factory Camaro harness for our swap. We're working on a full wiring video about how we modified the harness to work with our swap that should be coming out soon. Thanks for watching!

What are the brakes from? Year and size? I just put corvette C6 hubs with C4 brakes on it on my 79 trans am, but it’s only 2 piston calipers, I got 18” rims so those same brakes should fit in my car too

Nice! The brakes we used are from a 2006 Corvette Z06. The tricky thing is with the six piston PBR calipers (the ones we used) caliper height is a major issue as they're a really big caliper. Depending on the wheels that you have, they may or may not fit. Definitely want to measure twice. Good luck!
