Waco is located 90 miles south of Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas, so it's about a one hour and twenty minute drive if things go well. The population is over 130,000, and it's a city with a lot of history. A lot of initial development happened in the 1800's and historic brick buildings can still be found all around the downtown area. Some notable features include the Alico building, which is the oldest skyscraper in Texas and the old courthouse building. I can't believe I forgot to mention the Dr. Pepper museum in the video, but that's in Waco too because Dr. Pepper was founded there. The Magnolia is a new and popular touristy place with a market and live music and Union Hall is also a popular indoor area with a bunch of food options. You can find live music at a number of places around downtown Waco, including The Backyard Bar, Pivovar, Waco Ale Company, Southern Roots Brewing, Texas Music Cafe, Z's at the Curry, Stay Classy Cocktail Bar, Cricket's Draft House and Grill, and Twisted Sisters Patio Bar.
