I've always wanted to see this iconic place. Thanks so much for the opportunity to know what it looks like. I love old hollywood glamour and have always dreamed of going there. Maybe someday I'll get to make that trip. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for showing the inside of this theater. As always, you provide a great service to those who may never be able to visit such locations in person. Also, I always enjoy your commentary which is sincere and vibrant.
I was an usher there in 1980. I used to have to walk around that cold empty theater in the morning before the shows started. I would help sweep and polish the brass on the inside and the statues. The really creepy thing was at that time The Shining was playing.
It will always be Graumans Chinese Theater to people from here. I don't know why they changed the name, no matter who owns it. I always loved going there when I was little and putting my hands and feet in the Movie Stars! I don't think I ever had an exact match.
There is a movie I want to watch there in IMAX (godzilla king of the monsters) but I'm not sure how that theater works, like where is the entrance? Parking. etc.
