I think 2'000 CHF is just fine if you've lived in the city. It's even on the lower ends. I live near Zollikon, and pay for my office round about 2k and for my pricate appartemnt 1'500 CHF. Switzerland seems expensive, but you earn more, so its fine. Working for example in a McDonalds Fulltime can get you already almost 4'000 CHF per month.

Finally, an apartment that looks like someone's home, not a fake house where everything was bought for instagram shots... . I really like the vibe of the place - minimalist feel, but very cozy.

Hi jus! I wanna let u know how amazing u r. Today I got a failed haircut. I was so sad bc I had super long hair (for me) and the hairdresser kinda messed up and cut it too short. I came to a point where I just cried and feel so bad ab myself. I look at the mirror and somehow I see a flash of u like a second on the mirror. And I was like “damn! yeah, Geneva inhabitant here. rents are so expensive over here and in Zurich. Your salary might be from 4000 to 6000 average so imagine paying 2200 for rents and sometimes it's for a studio or one bedroom only...

Well 2200 chf is not 2000usd (we are more close to 2400$). This is standard rent in Zurich (depending in which Kreis you live - not mentioned In The video)

Ok im from switzerland normaly apartments are around 900 - 1200. But new apartments in the core of the city are pricy like everywhere else in the world. So no 2000 is not standard over here
