She was way too young to be taken from us. She would've been 50, this year and would've been a great mom. Her rise to stardom and successful career was just getting started, but all of that was snatched away from her at 23, 2 weeks before she was about to turn 24. Her birthday's a day after my parents' anniversary. May this beautiful soul Rest In Peace. R.I.P. Selena

I remember when that happened to Selena in 1995. And also, "Dreaming of You" and "I could Fall In Love". They would play those songs on the radio a lot, right after she passed away. Continue to Rest in Heavenly peace Selena.. 🙏🏼✝️🌹💐

This brought tears to my eyes 😭. To see her grave. Why did she have to take Selena away from us like that???? She had so much ahead of her. She wanted children and so much more. Rip Selena. God knows we miss you so damn much.

My mom went to a Selena concert while she was pregnant with me so in a way I feel lucky even if I was only close to Selena while in my mom's tummy

Ugh!! This is just so incredibly sad..I was 15 when I first saw her on TV. And I instantly liked her. She had a sweet and pure energy about her. I thinks it amazing how her family are holding up still. You know they must be so sad behind the scenes. I wish she was still here...😥💗💗

i actually got to meet chris in her hometown he was really nice i gave him flowers and told him i was born in the 90's and my mom got to see her in 1995 i wasn't alive but she told me all about her chris told me some personal stuff about her and he gave me a rose to put down for her i also gave him a little bracelet that i made for her even tho i dont understand what she says in her songs she lights up my world r.i.p. selena

I remember visiting her grave when my parents, my boyfriend and I went to see some family in corpus. I literally broke down because I was in her presence and I remember falling to my knees and sobbing. I didn't know her or see her in concert but that's how my parents met. They met at the rodeo in February,1995. I wanted to see her gravesite of course to pay my respects and to thank her for bringing tejano music to us. I remember my boyfriend actually had to put his arm around me to help me back to the car. I didn't wanna leave her knowing she's already gone. Rip the queen of tejano music ❤️😭

Rip. If Selena were still alive, she would’ve been out of this world. Her musical talent and charisma were amazing! She is one my musical inspirations.

But while listening to the song this time I realize that she actually gets the person she is Dreaming of and they are FINALLY together in her room, dreaming of being together.. forever! Can't remember what it was that drew me to her this time, cause I've Heard about her life and music all my life.. but I never understood what the "big deal" was. I had even seen the movie her family made of her right after her passing.. sad as it was it still didn't hit me what a special and beautiful soul Selena was and is! Selena was a gift from God.. there is no other way to describe her! She had that "IT" factor that some people are born with. Beauty, brains, talent, down to earth.. I've also heard that she loved the Lord.. also that she was the only member of her family that truly loved and worshipped the Lord! I hope I get to meet her on the other side! This is also the only thing that keeps me from completely losing my mind over her death, knowing she is in heaven and I'll get to see her and Jesus one day ❤️💯

My mom was a huge fan of Selena my dad actually took my mom on a date to one of her concerts in 1992 she still has the pictures she took at the concert and pictures she took with Selena I wish I can post them on here for anyone that's curious to see 🙁 but i always get excited when I look through them its like I was actually there even tho I wasn't born yet lol i just wish her life wasn't taken so early she had so much potential

I remembered driving from San Antonio just to see her grave they have a white fense with white flowers now longest 3 hour ride of my life but totally worth seeing her!❤ especially the statue they have of her next to the beach /steps she used to go to as a child 😭❤

I always watch her movie, even though I didn't know her personally, I love her! She was very beautiful and an very beautiful voice. Her life story had me happy and sad at times and she didn't deserve what happened to her. Rest up!! Selena, you are truly and Angel.

I’m so sad she’s not here anymore😭 but I’m glad she was from Texas because I was born and live in Texas. It’s easier and closer so I can visit her grave, museum, statue and go to fiesta de la flor. Miss her so much ❤️😚

I live in corpus and when I take my downtown cruises by the water sometimes I stop by her grave to say hello. As a kid there used to be a tradition to leave coins for her. They don’t do that much anymore and it is now gated with steel bars not chains anymore.

After the Quintanilla family confronted her, Saldívar bought a gun, lured Selena to a motel room, and shot her in the back. Although doctors tried to revive Selena, she was pronounced dead from loss of blood and cardiac arrest.

I remember listening to Selena sing when I was a kid she passed on when I was just 13 but I remember crying my eyes out when I heard the news. I even listened and loved her songs that weren't in english even though I couldn't understand what she was saying :) . I am still brought to tears when I listen to her songs but I have dedacted two of them to my bf who means the world to me. We will miss you always Selena.

I went to Corpus Christi in 2006 when I was young and this video brought back so much memories. Everything looks different now. While I was at the musuem my mother got to chat with Mr. Quintanilla. He was asking my mother if we (her kids) knew Selena and she said yes. How it must have felt to know his daughters music is still touching lives even to those born after her lifetime. We love you Selena! ❤
