They are already making Garry's Mod 2 the game is called S&Box, its made with the Source 2 engine

"Garry's mod 2" is coming, but it's being called "s&box" and has goofy fallguy's style graphics. Kinda disappointing, cause the whole point of source 2 was to make things more realistic.
