I like this design more than the latest 2024 series, why did they make the body design pointy, isn't it a modern retro theme? I prefer this type. the latest one lost its retro impression. That just my opinion btw😮💨. I wish I could have this bike soon
How's the CS Racing exhaust? I just bought a brand new 2022 CB650R from a dealer about 3 hours away. Will pick it up in about two weeks when I am down there for a track day. I'll do the track day on my Duke 390 and then swap bikes so I can ride home on the CB650R and I'll get them to ship the Duke back to my hometown. I'm already shopping for all of the upgrades I want to do to it haha. That CS racing exhaust sounds awesome and is a reasonable price. Did you notice much of a power gain with it? Did it smooth out the mid-range torque dip with exhaust+tune?
I love the CS Racing exhaust. It sounds so good…looks great too. You’ll love this bike. I had 2WDW do the tune. The power delivery is much smoother and higher all the way across the board.
@@TrackZuke Excellent. Can't wait to hear it in person! It'll be a while before I change the exhaust though since I just bought the bike, haven't even ridden it yet!! Haha.
I appreciate your stoke. Trackdays are a blast. These seem like they'd be fun on the track, especially since you have to ring it out like a supersport. Looks great as well.
This makes me excited to try a track! Thanks for the book recommendation. I'm from NE Texas with a 2023 CB650R - just hit 1k miles. I'm curious about the tune you mentioned - Are you satisfied? I running an exhaust with factory tires as well and have been wanting to get rid of the "factory power dip". Thanks for the entertaining and informative video! Also track suit recommendation for a first-timer?
Twist of the Wrist 2 is fantastic. I’m reading the Suspension Bible right now. It is much more technical and addresses the specificities related to suspension. Where in Texas, specifically? I’m on the west side of DFW. I love the 2WDW tune. I’m going to have them do my Gixxer as well. I just got a OneX track suit. Seeing that it’s my first, idk that I can recommend it or not as I have no reference point.
I'm a couple of hours east of Dallas in the Tyler area. Thank you again for the recommendations. I'm really considering doing a beginner's track day but will most definitely do some reading and more research into everything before I jump straight in. Cheers @@TrackZuke
@@chadbrown354 I don’t know what your closest track option is, but I’ll be doing the Eurosport class at MSR in spring. That’s the one I did previously and loved it. Great value at $180.
@@TrackZuke Yeh, that bit sucks. At some point the pressure of the helmet against my face becomes unpleasant. But this bike is an absolute blast at moto gymkhana! My other pain points are the lack of balance shaft (buzz gets annoying 5 hours in 😒), less-than-plush seat (honestly, with the buzz gone, it'd probably be fine) and inability to dial out some of the compression damping (because some roads SUCK). None of that's enough to make me let go of mine, but at some point I'll probably add a more long-distance-friendly horse to the stable 🤔
@@233kosta this is exactly where I’m at. I love the bike. Now that I have a gixxer for track/very spirited twisties, I am wanting more of a sport tourer for my second bike.
Heck yeah!...I bought a 2003 Suzuki GSXR600 back in March of this year to do some track days. I just put my track suit, and boots in my wishlist on Amazon. I'm so, so happy for you! Stay, and ride safe.
Nice! Have you done any track days with it yet? I’m absolutely FIENDING to get my K6 out to the track…it’s all I think about every day lol. My track suit and boots are supposed to arrive Friday. Can’t wait! Subbed btw.
@@TrackZuke no I have not done any track days in 2023, I got a new job in June of this year, and you know about the whole 90 day thing, then I had to move, and I hate moving!! Just could not find the time to do a track day this year.
@@SoloBlack313 ah, that’s tough. I’m sure you’ll get some time in ‘24! Get out there and scratch that itch. The gixxers are a blast. Something about ringing the neck of a clapped gixxer is so satisfying.
