yeah i feel like even with his redemption arc on its way, there's still stuff that A-Train does from s1 to s3 that he doesn't seem to take account for besides killing Robin. Getting Supersonic killed was one of them.

@@MilkManCaravan yeah and that's fine, the way the redemption arc is going is also pretty good, my only nitpick would be to have all the things he has done like mentioned once or twice, maybe as a reminder because I know some people might've forgotten some things that A-Train has done simply because a lot of iconic stuff in The Boys. If not then it's still fine, no big deal for me.

@joshuatmgg1983 I think those, for want of a better phrase, 'unredeemed acts' will be the reason he doesn't get a happy ending. I can't see a world in which Homelander can allow a key member of The Seven to challenge him like this without killing them. Maybe it happens at the end of tomorrow's episode, perhaps even in public to drastically raise the stakes for the next season. Either way, I don't see him running off into the sunset, but I think that serves the character better and is probably what A-Train himself would want, or at least be at peace with now.

You don't recruit someone in their time of desperateness, when they've already lost everything. Now they'll be looking to please whoever they believe is the strongest, winnning side and the side that can give them back all that they lost. Which is Vought, Homelander. Since Atrain got his speed back, and actually isn't desperate for Homelander's approval, he's thinking clearly and wants to do right by those around him. He at least regained a part of what he lost and realizes it isn't all that he wanted. That is the chance to recruit an ally to your side.

Remember in early seasons when supes actually patrolled neighbourhoods and public opinion was the #1 metric for Vaught's value? Now in season 4 we're told to believe that supes don't even do a single legit save their entire careers and we never hear about their approval ratings. It just feels like a completely different show

I believe that's because public perception (in the Boys universe) changed towards supes after it was revealed superheroes are not born, but rather injected with compound V. I don't really recall the details, but I do remember it being a big plot point, and altering how people perceived supes. I think that was the main reason they slacked off on their super hero persona. I could totally be wrong, however😅

2:55 Just a reminder, that A train in season 1 can pull a train with his bare hands. Deep seems more bothered by the fact he got punched in the gills rather than that strong of a punch. I guess they kind of established his resistance for season 4. It just bugs me how many heroes/villains are now bullet proof. (Yes, Annie tanks 2 sniper shots to the chest in season 1) Idk, just makes the whole "How do we deal with Translucent?" Feel like a different show almost.

I never paid too close attention but at 3:33 A-Train says fuck this and goes to run at them or maybe just deep and Supersonic stopped him. I really wonder what would have gone down had A-Train continued saying Fuck it

I like how his legs run a little but there's no ground so they just dangle. I wonder if homelander wants A-train to break so they can have it out here (definitely wanted that with maeve), who knows the land might even grow tired of killing (supes) at some point.
