9:01 I can not belive it : ) ... an Indalo sticker on the top case. That sticker is something very usual in my city; Almeria . Great Video thanks for sharing . Regards from Almería
Pulled my silver/black CRF rally and went for coffee. 39F cold out here. Great video. I catch-up with a few old guys and a girl or two to speed skate once a week. These times for us getting older times are the best. Haven't found time or other old dudes to buzz around with on bikes yet but soon when I retire that may change.
Great video production and entertainment. Watching this reminds me why I traded in my Africa Twin on a Goldwing. Blacktop much kinder to this old body.
Well done lads, great video as always! You probably better than you think!! 👏 We hit those trails a couple months ago, it was pouring rain and my helmet cam stopped working! 🙈 Over the dam and up the hill was great but coming down the other side on the stones was crazy, I had the worst arm pump ever! 🤣 The bit after, as I’m less experienced, Nigel took us a different route, too difficult in the wet! But you guys done well as our experienced riders went that way and had a nightmare, some bike damage and a bad fall at the rocky slope to the gate! So, well done!!! 👍
Cheers :D Yeah, it was a bit rough! We were lucky, the sun came out and it got dryer, but in the wet patches just close your eyes! Down the rocky hill, kept engine off, in gear and just slipped the clutch to get the damn bikes down! Still fun thou! All the best :D
Beautiful !! I missed watching you !! Mate, you rock every minute !!! Congrats on the adventure. We're never to old or out of fit ... damm bike builders just can't get it right on the weight balance ... they forget we need Milks along the way, to easy the pain!! LOOOL ... Bring on more !! Cheers
This episode didn't disappoint. Tynehead is a tricky lane, particularly that down hill section just before the gate. I love your attitude towards off roading, and the way you put these videos together. I hope you eventually venture into the lakes as I'd like to see what you make of those lanes. Great work to all involved. It's keeping me entertained. 😁
I used to do a bit of trail biking and foresty tracks as a teenager whilst growing up in mid Wales. I haven't done it since and just road ride and commute. I don't think I see the attraction. I think if I did it now I would get one of those battery mountain bikes. Nice and light and easy to pick up, far more agile. I thought that the bmw 310 would be lift able for one man. Anyway interesting non the less.
Huge respect to you all, some, gnarly stuff there, I did similar terrain in north Wales in april with Mick Extance experience only we were riding ktm 250 enduro bikes.
Illustrates that you don't have to travel across continents to have an adventure....I admire the riders, especially the bloke on the mini-GS...keeping humour and enthusiasm through out and also knowing their limits. Keep up the great work Motoeuro...I look forward to your videos very much....I own a Rally myself and it's really the best bike on the market to explore like this...the AT is far too heavy and full of plastic (as you discovered first hand)...don't get me wrong the AT is a beautiful bike but you need to be prepared to lift that thing up and have help if gravity is against you.
I'm from the South Pennines so similar terrain to that of your ride, but your particular route looked seriously challenging, so all credit to you all. I hope Steve's ok after his tumble, and from experience I know that falling off a slow moving bike can still do damage. But I think of all your steeds, his Africa Twin was overkill on those tracks. But you did it, and I hope you it doesn't deter you from more vids and more rides in that great northern countryside. Regards
You had me in stitches. Subscribed. What a pleasant video to watch, Great cinematography, the whole time I was appreciating how much work putting the tripod out would have been and then the bit at the end just firmed that up. No comment on the fitness of the participants in this little adventure, but I am heartened myself as someone who might be able to undertake something like this in the future. By the way I'm not that fit 😃.
Great video guys, Great to see the Africa Twin “ getting it done” as you say! I’ve been doing bits of the Borderlands TET, you guys been up this way? If not it’s worth a look
Great adventure guys. Keeps you fit and knackered in equal proportions👍. Question, what riding gear are you using? You may have already covered this in a previous video and I missed it?
