I'm eternally grateful to ATCQ for writing this record. This record dropped when I was a senior in high school. I remember all too well what it was like to graduate and now I gotta go out here in the world and strike it out for myself not knowing what to do, where to go, or who to go to for help, plus I'm young and inexperienced so people are going to take advantage of that by lying to me, cheating me, stealing from me. Beats, Rhymes and Life was def their tougher release out their catalog. First 3 releases you could tell they was having fun with those albums, but this one felt different, songs like this one made it one of their more serious releases, and they never compromised their craft during it all, which is why Tribe is legendary in Hip Hop.💯💯
