Rest In Peace Ma. We Nigerians have lost one of the greatest writers we have ever produced.

I am glad her son made the point of distinguishing her as a womanist in her own words.

What a coincidence that I was doing some readings which brought up Buchi Emecheta's name. Diverted to read her profile again. I realized today is the fourth annivesary of her death. RIP Ms. Emecheta.

Introduced to the works of Maya Angelou, just had to read more of other black women. Buchi I was so excited and inspired by your journey through life. Have read every book you have written many times and still have all of your writings sat on my bookcase for my children and grand-children to read. You have enhanced my life. Thank you so much.
