It was my great privilege to watch Dave Mackay throughout his whole career at Spurs. He and Jimmy Greaves were and still are the greatest players I have ever seen. What a player Dave was.

Not just one of the greatest, but arguably the greatest. I’ve seen them all come and go over the last 70 years and apart from maybe Jimmy Greaves he was the best of the best. You could not put a price on his value in todays transfer market.
