A Tribute to Jackie Zeman - General Hospital 

@4:45 I was there!!! I was there!!! My mom took me and my sister to see Tristan Rogers and Jackie Zeman at Brooklyn's A&S dept store in 1981 when they were making those personal appearances! Me and my sister had a good time that day!!!

Simply the BEST!!! Jackie and Tony Geary were the best ever brother-sister combo ever on daytime. Nurse Spencer was a big part in making GH the best soap ever...a family and community . Beautiful and talented, she had our hearts with Aunt Ruby. Love her...those were the DAYS!!!!!

Seeing these actors from General Hospital bring back such fond memories.

Jackie was always one of my all time favorites. Even when the show hardly had her on, I always thought about Jackie and Bobbie and how she needed to be there. RIP sweet Jackie, your fans will always love and miss you....

I’m 34 and have been watching soaps all my life. I remember back in the 90’s it was Jackie Zeman and Brad Maule that pulled me in. She shined and I was a fan from then. My first memories were of Bobbie and Tony in the brownstone. May she rest in the sweetest peace ❤️

It's so sad. Jackie zeman was a fixure on GH. One that the fans never got sick of seeing.! Rest in peace beautiful Jackie AKA Bobbie. We your fans will always love you. We'll miss your bubbly presence. I'll be praying for her family and friends.

Bobbie and Luke came into town and everything was different in Port Charles ever since. They knew how to party. Bobbie was such a great addition to the show. She was a excellent actress and will be missed by all of us.

Thank you for this. I'm currently reliving the 80s on GH and Bobbie, Luke, Scotty, Laura, Noah, Robert... It was a time for us to be alive. I was in my early 20s and obsessed. Today at 63, I'm getting obsessed all over again. If the ptb at ABC realized how many of us there are, a boxed set of the 80s and 90s would make a fortune! While the original fans are still alive. This made me miss my late mom even more. She loved GH and all of these men, just like me. This was very sentimental and personal. I loved it. ❤

Kin is the coolest dude on daytime, and for me Brad Maule is one of THE greatest actors in TV history. Whoever approved killing off Tony (and so many others) needs their head checked. This was such a lovely tribute to the fabulous Jackie Z. Hard to believe we will never see her again. And gosh, Tamara is so gorgeous. Hasn't aged a day in 20 years. Same exact thing happened to me when my best friend died, with the dream. Same dream and peaceful feeling.

Jackie Zeman, l watched her on General Hospital for 45 years, she was Amazing and wonderful. My prayers and thoughts go out to her daughters and family and friends. Jackie, will be missed. This was a excellent tribute for Jackie, thank you all so much for doing this. I hope they will do a tribute on General Hospital also.

Kin you will probably never see this, but back in the 80s my son and I were vacationing in L.A. huge G.H. fans. We got to come to the set and a taping. You came up to my son (10 yrs old) his hair was just like yours was then (spiked) you rubbed his hair with your hand and said "hey nice hair"! So kind and so funny, we all laughed so hard. Thank u for that, meant alot to a 10 yr old and me. Also his cousin passed away of cystic fibrous and Leslie Charleson was so kind to him, that is her foundation. Was such a fan of all of you and the entire show. Loved Jackie and Bobbie! Thank you all!!!

This was a beautiful and deserving tribute to our dear Jackie. You are so right, Michael, about Jackie was deserving of an Emmy. That she never received one is one of biggest travesties in Emmy history. 😊

So sorry I missed this! I've watched GH since 1966 so remember all these wonderful gentlemen and Jackie very well. I just saw Rick in concert here in Omaha on Wednesday night. Great show! 4th time I've seen him. Thanks so much for coming here again. Love "Automatic". Thank you to Kin, Tristan, Brad and Sam also for your remembrances of Jackie. Truly an incredible human to have everyone say she never had anything bad to say and to help people in scenes..

Oh wow I didn't even recognize Robert Scorpio or Rick Springfield! Scorpio was one hot man back in the day when he first appeared on General Hospital! My favorite seens were the ones with Jackie working with Tony Geary! So funny that time when Luke wanted to be alone on the boat with Laura so he let all the air out of Scotty's tires! Barbara Jean grabbed up the lug wrench & hid it in the bushes. Then when Scotty came back couldn't find it & asked the girls if anybody saw the lug wrench. Bobbi says "what's a lug wrench" knowing very well she hid it in the bushes! lol I just loved how close a brother/sister realtionship Luke and Bobbi had on set!

I am saddened by this news about Jackie. ✨ I absolutely loved her character (Bobbie). ✨ For many years I loved GH. ✨ My Favorite Characters Were: Rick Springfield 🤩 Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) SN: I used call Tristan Rogers my Australian Cousin 😇😂. Anna Devane Scotty Baldwin ✨ OF COURSE I LOVED ANTHONY GEARY aka Luke There were so many Characters that I loved on GH. I am sending prayers to all of Jackie’s family, friends, and loved ones. ✨ May the Lord continue to bless each of you. 🙏🏽❤️❤️

I wasn’t able to watch this live - thanks so much for keeping this up on RU-vid. I was incredibly shocked when I heard that Jacklyn Z died. She was just one of those people who I thought would live (close to) forever. She had red hair before it was a popular hair color to have. I admired her work on GH - loved seeing her with every incarnation of Carly. Her pivotal storyline with Brad (BJ’s death) was a landmark in soap opera history. I loved watching her work with Kin, Rick, Jake, and the character of Ruby. So many good memories that GH has provided for us over the decades. Tremendous actress and actors.

I remember being SOOOO Excited that she was cast on GH after I had loved her on OLTL !! LOVED Bobbie Spencer and I sure HOPE they do her justice when they do a special tribute episode especially for Bobbie. I assume it has to be in the planning!!

She was the best ever. RIP Jackie. ❤❤

I watched this beautiful tribute LIVE but I wasn't able to be in the chat, unfortunately. Thank you Michael & Kin for putting this together. Thank you to all of the great former GH cast members & Tristan for sharing your special memories. I loved Tamara's story of Jackie, after her passing. I laughed & cried during this hour. I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie once, many yrs. ago. She was so lovely, friendly, bubbly, gracious and down to earth. We bonded over our shared passion for dogs. I miss her presence on GH, what a lady💓

Good Lord, I remember having mad crushes on every one of these men! The storyline on BJ's death...the writing and the acting still remain unmatched on any soap. Heck, no movie actor or actress making millions ever affected me as strongly as Brad and Jackie (along with Kristina and Jack) in those scenes. Unforgettable performances. Don't want to believe that beautiful lady is really gone.

Im still shocked that shes gone. She didnt look one day sick. This is why we wear make-up!! I loved her story lines. I will miss you sweet lady. Ive been watching all soaps on 7 at the age of 8. Its hard to watch your favorites die for real. xo

Even if Rick doesn't remember Bobbie faking blindness to keep him, I remember that! I also remember what Tristan was talking about, regarding the scene where they had a contest for King of the disco or something like that, it was a silly scene but they did play it well, he's right:))

The BJ storyline of Tony & Bobbie giving Maxie BJ's heart was excellent & gut wrenching. So, so, so sad!!! Very well acted, especially by Jackie!!!

My thanks to all of you for sharing your memories and feelings about Jackie. Her zest for life and big heart came through in her portrayal of Bobbie. My sympathies to her family and friends who are missing her physical presence. My thoughts are similar to those of Tamara - the love and spirit remain and surround us.

Finally had a chance to watch this, what a fantastic, touching walk down memory lane reminiscing about the one and only Jackie Z. Loved seeing Brad Maule again, miss him as Tony. Rick Springfield doesn't seem to age, great to see him. Sam Behrens was before my time as a fan of the show, but nice of him to come. Good to see Tamara Braun again, and of course the legends Kin Shriner and Tristen Rogers. Great job leading the discussion, Michael. Thank you so much for doing this, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Jackie was part of the backbone of GH, she'll be sorely missed!

This was an incredible gift to the fans. Soap fans know that you watch for so long that the characters start to be as important as your family and best friends. You go with them through the ups and downs, and many times their problems offer respite from the problems we face. I first saw Ms. Zeman when I was kid. My mother watched General Hospital, yet I was the one that became the lifelong soap fan. I remember Scotty and Bobbie when they were dating, and Bobbie was viscious (in a delicious manner) toward Laura. I remember when she was married to Jake. I remember when she was married to Dr. Jones. I remember when she was married to that evil man that terrorized several people in Port Charles. Bobbie grew as a character, just as I grew up and went through life changes. Jackie's passing is a blow to the fans, and I'm so sorry for her family and friends. Fans will come to RU-vid when we need to see Bobbie. I know how hard it is to be in the situation where someone you see regularly is no longer there. Thank you to everyone who participated. This was such a tremendous gesture to the fans. Thank you.

That was a fantastic tribute to Jackie Zeman who played Barbara Jean Spencer on GH. Bobbie was Luke's little sister and she was a great prostitute turn nurse on the soap general hospital but in real life the people who knew her had only nice things to say about her. She will be missed😢. According to these people she was also a great person.

Sincerely felt tribute. Great seeing, though unfortunately under these circumstances, Brad Maule and Sam Behrens pay tribute to Jackie even though they worked with her decades ago. Blast from the past for some of us viewers... Everyone's recollections were warm; each expressed an affection for Jackie Zeman which came through. A loss for those who knew her in real life and for those of us who have memories of her from a wonderful bygone era on GH. Always loved her and the Brownstone scenes....

I love that Kin told that Murray The K story. I remember working at my first job in radio in the mid-80s when I learned Jackie had been married to him.

I remember Lana McClain w/ Jameson Parker on OLTL! From a distance as a soap opera fan Jackie Zeeman always seemed so vivacious in her love for Bobbie and General Hospital. A great supporter of the genre.I was sad to imagine this positive force gone. Jackie did not seem like the type of person to die.

I started watching in high school 1980...I rem the actors pretty well.....I was fortunate to have met Tristen (my fist bump buddy), Jackie, my ring sister, Anna and more.....she was very sweet....Tristen and Anna were cool, too!!! I am soooo lucky to have met many of the cast....it was a great experience.🥰

I didn’t get to watch this live, but I look forward to watching all of it. Jackie was awesome and I can’t wait to hear everyone’s memories of their time working with her over the years and your friendships.

No one talked about the story line between brother & sister Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) & Bobbi Spencer {Jacgueline Zeman) Was so AMAZING! How they always watched out for each other. Close siblings. Jackie dedicated her whole life to GH! She deserves a "Special" tribute/memorial from GH set! That's the least they can do! They (GH) should have thanked "Jackie Z." for their high ratings. This was so great to hear all the stories from these fellow co-stars. I just really wish the show would get on the ball and address her character one way or the other. I think a recast would be awful considering how much she owned the character of Bobbie. They really have no choice but to write her out in death, it would be the only way to do it IMO. It really needs to be done soon...

Beautiful tribute to Jackie Zeman all around. Tamara's dream- I've had dreams with people I've lost and it confirmed that they are all around me and still keeping watch and so I can absolutely relate to the peace Tamara felt with that dream and it is a gift. Those who cross over know how we're doing and what we need. Kin was obviously such a close friend for decades, I loved the interview he and Jackie did on State of Mind with Maurice, and how wonderful of Kin for helping to put this all together and honoring his long time friend, Jackie, but the blonde woman in Kin's house, in the background, was really champing at the bit to be seen in this video and doing everything she could to be noticed, and was a very distracting presence.

I loved Bobbi, I loved Jackie, she was one of the best ♥️🙏

I watched this, and it was a wonderful tribute. I was in college in the fall of 1980 when it was Luke and Laura. i'd watched Days of Our Lives since the late 1960's, but the student lounge would be jammed every day - boys and girls, tuning into General Hospital. This went on for the entire year and probably the ones after, but I transferred to another school so I don't know. It was very nice of Ms. Zeman's co-stars to pay tribute to her. May she rest in peace.

It's so good to see everyone, the 80's were GH's golden times. I pretty much stopped watching after '85 -86, the show just wasn't what it once was after that.
