Stunning video that captures Dixie's spirit of adventure and vibrant energy! It brought back so many great memories of those days! How I miss her and am so very grateful I was her friend, sharing so much--altho' not the climbing. THANK YOU, Wes!
Thanks so much for your comments. It also makes me appreciate and respect her more after I put it together. Hope all is well in Forestville and best to you both, Wes
@@off-trailsouthweston1778 Jim and I are hanging in there but not straying far from home. Luckily we have all those wineries surrounding us! So many wonderful things remind us of you and Dixie. May you continue to carry on the adventuring for years to come--she is right there with you in spirit!
That is an amazing tribute Wes. She was an incredible partner. Her desire, and yours, to grab life by the tail and life it to the fullest is truly inspirational.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Dixie in this very well made video! So many beautiful places you two were fortunate to climb and share with all of us! Thanks! Marilyn and Larry
R.I.P. you are still an amazing couple. Bodies may leave this earth but souls never, ever die. You will meet again and continue to climb even higher. She just happened to reach this one glorious summit before you. Be not as sad she is gone as happy that she was once here.
@@off-trailsouthweston1778 All the best- happy trails! Incidentally, we recently hiked to the top of Half Dome (Yosemite) and Angels Landing (Zion, UT) this past April. Both were both a lot of fun. We clipped on to some cables for Half Dome. If you have time and interest, check out the areas around MOAB, UT like Chicken Corners and Fisher Towers- really nice spots to explore.
I'm sure you know what a lucky guy you are to have had such a partner with whom to share so much of what you love. You must have been doing something right in a past life, eh? Thanks for the video.
